It's funny you should mention 10-year-olds, because our daughter will turn 10 on Royal Princess later this month! We're bringing our own happy birthday door magnet and have called Princess to have her birthday noted. This is a big one so we will be glad for any embarrassing birthday shenanigans! (We are also doing a very special shore excursion to celebrate. I haven't ordered a cake because I'm sure she'll find a special fancy dessert she'd rather have that we can make a birthday treat.)

We are taking our daughter (9 and turning 10 during the cruise) to both Sabatini's and Crown Grill on the Royal Princess in August. I won't promise that she has an upscale palate but she is very capable of acting appropriately in an upscale dining venue., and I have no doubt she will find dishes to enjoy on both menus. Virgin Voyages has an interesting dining concept for those who want many restaurant options, all with no kids.

I'm interested in this as well! I've called to ask about youth programming but the phone reps haven't been able to explain any updates or changes.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one having trouble finding out information about the Couples Villa! We don't cruise until August, so if you find out some information on board, please come back and let me know. Congratulations on your wedding, and have a great honeymoon!

Disney Cruise Line. I've only requested it on three of their ships (Wonder, Dream, and Magic) but have always gotten one.

Interesting! I would have thought that wouldn't be allowed! Can you share the brand/model you have that you have brought on board?

Can I request an air purifier for my stateroom on a Princess ship? My allergies are always out of control on cruise ships, and I've discovered that requesting a stateroom air purifier from housekeeping on day one and running it all the time really helps.

Does anyone have experience with a Couples Villa in the spa on Royal Princess? If so, two questions: 1. Which spa treatments will get you "assigned" to a Couples Villa? Is it any couples treatment, or must you select a specific treatment? 2. The Couples Villas supposedly have "a soothing whirlpool bath" and "a sitting area with ocean views." How long before or after a couples treatment can they enjoy the whirlpool in the villa? Thanks!
