Use your boarding pass. As stated above, we we were recently on the Conquest and ordered our 2nd drink at the lobby bar and was told that was it until we did the muster. So away we went with drink in hand.

Good info! Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks to all who responded.

Anyone who has recently sailed on the Conguest have anything you would like to share? Must do's, avoid these or any tips or out of the way spots. We're a month out and starting to get the fever!

I'll take the Horizon all day long.

About anything from the Alchemy Bar. Be sure to ask for premium brands on mixed drinks at other bars such as Gentlemen Jack, Bombay Sapphire, Gray Goose or Don Julio ...ect. my wife really likes the Chocolate Mocha Getaway from about any bar not named Alchemy.

On Friday Jan 14th 2022, we received an email from Carnival advising us this is our final notice to complete our health assessment for our upcoming cruise on the Horizon, departing Sept 26th 2021. We sailed that cruise almost 4 months ago. Unbelievable !!

We recently sailed on the Horizon, my wife had problems with her card, She wore her card on a lanyard in the pool one day and started having issues the next day. I didn't take mine in the pool and never had a problem.

On our latest trip, a 6 day on the Horizon Sept/Oct 21, I finally convinced the couple sailing with us to get the Cheers package. Boy, was they glad they did. When they got their printout in their mailbox they realized what I was telling them. 8 beers/ 6 mixed drinks and you break even. Not counting the soft drinks, bottled water and the large 1.5L bottles at dinner, the Gatorade, milkshakes and specialty coffees. Plus not having the dreaded " I would like to have another drink but not sure how much I've spent today blues". My wife was 6-7 alcoholic drinks per day with a high of 10 one day. I hit the limit everyday except the last night and that was 14. When you order Cheers, you get bubbles also. So for all of us, it was a no-brainer.

We have sailed with Deon Williams, we enjoyed him. Steven Swartz is still our favorite.

We feel your pain, we got the same itinerary change on our September 26 sailing. On a lighter note, let's be thankful we didn't get Nassau, Freeport and Progresso.
-
We always get the Cheers package, it's a great deal for us as we usually always reach the 15 limit. We've booked a Conquest trip for next August and used the RU code but can't recall the number. We were pleased with the offer.

After 3 cancelations, our next sailing is the end of September on the Horizon. Also a late August 2021 voyage on the Conquest. Keeping fingers and toes crossed!
-
Who knows, who cares, if I could afford to go on the cruise, I don't think it will break me if the plan gets altered, changed or modified and Carnival comes out on the better end (as usual). I can always cancel in advance. If the cruise gets canceled, they will refund me.

Last night I was able to lock down a FTTF for our Sept 26 2021 Horizon sailing. My PVP said there was only 33 left if anybody is interested.
-
It didn't really mention pools / hot tubs. I didn't partake in the hot tubs but I did enjoy a couple of drinks in the pool during the day on a scheduled stop. Pools not crowed at all. I've read this virus has a shelf life of several minutes in water. The hotter the temps the longer the shelf life. We've got a Horizon trip booked for September 2021, that will probably be our only sailing next year.
-
We got our official announcement today. We've had 3 cruises canceled recently but this is the earliest we've been notified. I think we will rebook something next year. Not sure how American Aiines will handle this one. They've moved this booking once already for us. We talked about a late spring rebook, try to let winter get past us. We currently still have a booking on the Horizon for September 2021.

I recently talked to my PVP and I asked about capacity controls and he said more than likely ships will be sailing less than capacity but not necessarily for social distancing, it's because Carnival has sent most all of it's crew/staff home. Even though August/September is along way off Carnival doesn't seem to think they can have everyone back. The number of passengers will be in relation to the number of crew.

SNJCruisers, the 3 couples we were sailing with on the on Sunshine all wanted a refund. When I talked to our PVP, we did take the FCC and got the OBC on our Horizon cruise. Thanks for the heads up !

We rocking this same itinerary September 14, keeping our fingers crossed ! Can't wait for a Guy's Burger and a Flat Iron in the MDR !
-
So far during this virus, we've rescheduled a April Conquest sailing to September which we now doubt will take place, taking the refund on our July Sunshine trip and booked a Horizon cruise for September 2021. We're all over the map on this right now.
-
Yes we think itineraries should be upgraded. We also think/ hope the Mardi Gras winds up in Miami. It's just so much easier to get to than Canaveral or Everglades !
-
We had to rebook our April 27 Conquest sailing to Sept 14. Now we're trying to figure what to do/waiting to see what happens with our July 11 Sunshine cruise.

We sail out Miami at 4pm on on Sunday on the Celebration. We do have the FTTF package. Today was my first opportunity to pre register. The only option was 2:00 -2:30. My thinking is regardless what you sign up for if you have FTTF you show up at the earliest time. If my thinking is correct what would the earliest time be for a 4 o'clock sail away? Noon maybe?
