Thank you. That is what we were thinking. Don't want to over pack or overdress, but as a several time Celebrity cruiser in Caribbean, wasn't sure what to expect in Alaska.

What is the actual 2022 experience with Millennium Alaska cruisers regarding dinnertime attire in MDR? Are people respectfully observing Celebrity's "Smart Casual" and Evening Chic" dress code?

We are going Northbound. Is the bus really going to stop at all of the same stops as the train, so if needed, mid-tour access could be accomplished?

Any limitations on number/size of luggage for motor coach and train on land tour 8A?

Since trips this summer are all RT, does it really matter which side to sit on?

Anyone know who Celebrity contracts with for its Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Watching excursions? We are booked with them, but can get a full refund, if we change our minds now.

I've read Celebrity's website info on testing. My head is spinning in circles. If anyone has RECENT (like May 2022 departures) information for Vancouver>Seward cruisers, please respond. Thanks in advance. 1. I know we need to complete ArriveCAN information; but Canada currently has no pre-arrival COVID testing requirement for fully vaccinated travelers from USA, right? 2. Celebrity requires a negative test no more than two days prior to boarding (i.e., Wed-Fri) for a Friday departure from Vancouver, right? 3. Since we are going to leave USA early on Wednesday, we won't be able to test in USA prior to departure. I understand there are a variety of proctored self test options available, but do to unreliability of our not-so-smart phones and email service, I don't want to rely on waiting for an email confirmation of negative test results. Is there somewhere near Canada Place where we can get tested on Wednesday or Thursday and get hard copy result information to present when boarding the Millennium? Cost? Appointments needed? 4. Pretty sure that once aboard Millennium, no more testing required. Also, no testing when we begin land-tour in Seward or to board flight from Fairbanks>Seattle on way home. Correct me if I misunderstand.

We are going on 8A also (8/19). Go to Celebrity's Website and look at the Alaska 2022 brochure. Has at least some detail. No included meals. Included excursions in Anchorage, Denali and Fairbanks. Found details about other "land tour" excursions in port-by-port guide on C's website.

We are visiting the same cites as shown in your list of optional excursions. Thanks. Any suggestions for restaurants or places to visit on our own?

Onboard - What is actual experience of adherence to Celebrity's "Smart Casual" dress code for dinner in MDR? In the past, we essentially used casino as an ATM. Charged casino draws to our stateroom, gambled a little, converted the rest to cash. Is that still allowed? Can we use OBC to "buy" chips in casino? Is casino open in evenings when in Alaskan or Canadian waters? I assume not open when docked, correct? Land tour - I've found some information about land tour. Doesn't look like any meals are included. (Didn't expect any.) What about food for purchase while on train?

Just don't ask me how I wandered into whatever part of their website where I found the link! We are going in August - Celebrity veterans; Alaska first-timers. Can't wait.
