    I did an NCL transfer out of Southampton (1-5 - 2 hrs from LHR) for an 1150 am flight that they booked me on. I got a reservation on the first bus & made it with plenty of time through LHR.

    There are 6 hour tours that take you to all those places by bus. I will be doing that since ir's overnight flight & I may be a little tired to walk/taxi/subway. They are $89 to $99

    Good point. It does say NCL reservations like the payment on the cruise & cruise next voucher. I did go ahead & put another $50 OBC on my account just in case.

    I'm reading the Amex offer & it says it can't be used for shore excursions. Does anyone know if that is correct? I needed to spend $84 more to trigger offer so I bought shore excursions. I'll go ahead & get OBC also if I need to before June 1.

    This is incorrect. I used it to buy OBC & I did not use it all & it was refunded in cash the last day of the cruise. You CAN use it for tips

    I always look for the next alternative when booking flights .Luckily I live in LA so lots of choices. I have flight numbers with me that would get me to my destination in a reasonable time. One time going from Burbank(small airport) to SFO (on to Amsterdam) I booked a fully refundable ticket on Southwest leaving an hour later than my flight just in case it was cancelled/delayed.

    Is that a special promo? The one time I bought one it was $500 for a purchase price of $250. Are there different offers?

    I should have said my PVP or whatever they are called, When booking, I stated that I get the 2 dinners & he said no, only on 7 day or longer cruises. To me, that is incorrect information by NCL

    Probably because we are given so much incorrect info from NCL! My planner told me I did not get my 2 free specialty dinners on a 5 day which I found is not correct

    I just canceled a Europe cruise because 4 of the ports changed. I'm looking at New England instead but ports may change on that one too.

    I was at the bus station & a bus was canceled or changed or something happened so there people on standby. I was so sad to see 3 people who didn't get on the bus.

    I think anyone could have left at the same time. As I was very aware of the timing, I was one of the first people off when they announced we were able they could get off - or maybe people didn't want to get off that early.

    Last October I got off the ship & on a transfer bus to the airport about 7am since NCL had booked me on a flight back to the States at 11:50.

    Thanks. The more I look the more the YMCA appears to be the best location & price. I really don't mind sharing a bathroom - I'll just take a shower as soon as I get on the ship.

    You are a wealth of information! I wanted to stay at the Holiday Inn but it's booked. I'll check the comfort Inn. I think I also saw one that was reasonable, the Manhattan at Times Square. Are you familiar with that one?

    How much is a cab to Manhattan from JFK? I understand there are shared vans available also. I'm looking for basic hotel near the pier, any suggestions? Someone suggested the YMCA. Looks like a good location
