We cruised in 2015 with our 3 kids. Prior cruises had only been my husband and I. My kids were 21, 18 and 15. We all stayed in the same cabin. It was tight but it worked out okay. Fortunately we did have a balcony so someone could sit out there. We had no real Issues

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone has ever stayed in these cabins before? Good location? Any issues?
Trying to find info in the valor seems a little difficult

I have to agree. Back in 2004, we got a crazy idea to take our children, siblings and both sets of parents to Disney world. We paid accommodations and tickets. We knew the amount we spent was huge but looking back it was worth it. My kids still talk about the memories.
In 2012, my mother was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. She has been struggling for 3 years. At the time of official diagnosis, she was 55. Last year we again took our children and my parents to disneyworld. It was on her bucket list. We have precious memories that we will always keep with us
Life is short. Expenses will always be there. Family members will not. Enjoy and live life while you can. As we deal with the loss of memory, we realize how important it is to make memories.

Yep my daughters last name and grandbaby's name are the same as ours. Maybe they'll just assume they're both our children 😂
Thanks for replies. I feel much better
You will only (possibly)have an issue at end of cruise when customs officer may ask for information. But I assume her last name and yours are the same...so I doubt they will even ask for a letter -
Are there times the parent can stay with the young ones? I was thinking it would be fun to have a place to hang out and play together. She'll be 2 1/2

Great thank you everyone! Yes she is the only named parent on birth certificate.

We are booked to cruise next March. My adult daughter is coming with her daughter who will be 2 years at the time. She is a single mom. I think the plan is to get her a passport but will she need to bring a birth certificate to show she is the only parent? Anyone have experience with this?

Is there a benefit to having a pvp? Should I have one? How do I know if I do already?

Now I'm a little concerned. I understand the insurance part for the trip. But I never really thought about carrying thousands in cash in the event of an emergency or having extremely high credit limits. I know many people that do not have 100,000 in credit limits.
It definitely puts a little fear into this. Are there any trip insurances that prepay or guarantee payment? That seems at least a better choice in companies.

Well wow. What a response. I'm back. We opted for no AT&T. I went ahead and took photo ID for my 15 yo son. They asked for it at the port. Thanks for replies.

Just off the triumph this am. We were in Cozumel on Saturday. It was clear that a passenger was missing some of his party. He looked very distressed on the pier. Does anyone know what happened? Did some passengers get left?

Good afternoon,
I realize there are posts that are about snorkeling in Cozumel and also say that you can snorkel at PB. But I'm looking for someone that has actually done it. How bad is it? I am considering going here but also the kids want to do some snorkeling. None of my children, ages 15, 18, 22, have ever snorkeled so basic snorkeling is fine.
Anyone that actually tried to snorkel here?

Thanks!! We leave Thursday and hard to find reviews on Triumph!

Hello everyone.. a few quick questions..
1. When you go off the ship at port, what identification should you take? I know my S&S card. Do I take my passport with me? Driver's license? Do I need to take photo ID? Should I just take a copy of my passport? I wasn't sure if I needed photo ID to get back on the ship.
2. What about minors that don't have a driver's license?
3. AT&T on the ship... anyone have experience with texting and phone calls while aboard ship? THANKS

Awesome. Thanks everyone! I'm nervous to do the shorter cruise when I've only done 7 nights. I hope it doesn't seem too short. Thanks again

Hello everyone. I have a question. I've sailed twice on RCL for 7 nights each time. My husband and I are going to take our kids this time. We are sailing a 4 day cruise out of Galveston. I'm a little nervous. I've heard these are more of a booze cruise. I'm also not familiar with carnival. Any thoughts on the shorter cruises?

I have 2 aft balconies booked on Valor, 8457 & 8459. We have had a balcony room before but never an aft balcony, which sounds amazing. I just received an email offer this morning to upgrade to ocean suite. I'm torn.. what to do what to do? It is on the Empress deck. I think we will also lose our side by side rooms, I'm not sure how important that is to us because my youngest child will be almost 19 on this cruise and my oldest will be 25. Just a nice to be together. I don't know what an ocean suite is like. Is it good spot? Or did we do better with the aft balconies?
