Thanks for all the answers and suggestions so far. I did find some trustful providers of transportation. Looks like there is a big possibility that the Odyssey will dock at Terminal B. Quite a far way from the Taxi hub and other transportations. Will we have to walk from Terminal B all the way there (I checked the map, it's about a 30-40min walk)? Or is there another way?

Hi We will be in Athens again in October. Arriving at 5.30 with the Odyssey of the Seas. Not our first time in Athens and we'd like to go from Port to Athens on our own. Both ways. The official "On your own" tours are too long for us. We would get back to the Odyssey at around 3pm. Now I'm not sure should I pre-book an official Taxi or get a private transfer with a tour company? If so, it's quite a walk from the cruise terminal to the taxi/limo pickup, isn't it? If anybody has some experiences or could give me any tips, I'd be grateful. Thank you.

Hi, my wife and I are going on the Odyssey in October (Greek Islands). We're celebrating our 20th anniversary. One night we want to make extra special. We already enjoyed some classy wine and champagne on our previous cruises with RCL. But since we've never had it before we plan on opening a bottle of Cristal (Louis Roederer) Champagne. I've spotted that one on the Harmony before. Does anybody knows if that particular Champagne is available on the Odyssey as well? Thanks for any help.

Hi my cruising friends, just came back a few days ago from the Wonder Of The Seas. On the last day I saw that there is some kind of contest/competition going on where you can send in some pics from the cruise (memory pics, pics from a cruise party and so on). Unfortunately I forgot to take a pic of the ad with the e-mail adress on it. Didn't find anything online as well. Any chance somebody here knows? Thanks for any help!

To quote my answer from another board: The past few years we've been on Oasis and Vision class ships. Rhapsody, Allure, Harmony. And the Wonder in two weeks. So really both sides of the ships sizes. And I really couldn't tell which one I like more. I really love the entertainment on the Oasis Class. Great musicals, good live music at Boleros. Rock climbing, FlowRider, Zipline, the Abyss, Aqua Theater, Ice Skating shows. And lots of specialty restaurants. And then two of my favourite spots: Central Park and the Solarium. It never gets boring. You never end up hungry. But sometimes it gets crowded (not last time though...running at just 25% capacity). Places like the Solarium fill up quickly. And if you're not fast enough, some specialty restaurants will sell out. The Vision class is a lot smaller. But I had fun just the same. The Solarium is small, but cosy. A small version of the Park Cafe serves some decent snacks there. Enjoyed the Schooner Bar on the Vision class a lot more than on the Oasis Class. Felt more intimate...the whole ship does. You keep seeing the same visitors, the same staff. And when everything stops you will keep meeting the same folks grabbing one last slice of pizza before calling it a night. I really liked that. And there is a charm to the Centrum. Old-School cruising charm with for example the 70s show happening there. Or just to hang out for a late night drink - or pre-dinner drink. Nice dancing nights at the Viking Lounge with great views - missing that on the Oasis Class. And - at least the Rhapsody - still has our two favourite specialty restaurants: Izumi and Chops. Really really enjoy both of them. And I would say equally. The cabins are quite bigger and more comfy on the Oasis Class though.

Hi, going on a Cruise in September / October this year. Not our first cruise, but it's been a while. And it'll be our first time in Santorini. Arrival is at 7am, departure at 5pm. I checked the shore excursions with independent time in Oia. But it will only give us 90min in Oia. And we really wanna spend more time there. There are busses and of course taxis from Fira to Oia. Which is the better option? Any company I could (or should) book in advance? I know the cable car up to Fira will take lots of our time, so I wonder if it is worth to travel on our own or is the shore excursion still the better option? Thanks for any help and advice!
