I'm curious if its possible to see past Viking WC itineraries somewhere? Can anyone help? We are considering a WC, but not super excited about the current itineraries being offered on the Viking WC's. Just curious for comparisons sake.

I have looked, but can't seem to find all the World Cruise blogs for this years cruisers. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm late to the ballgame because of my own travels, but desperately want to catch up!

Thank you for those links because now I see this New World Voyage cruise for 180 days! Oh dear, now we have to decide whether to do the 138 or the longer one!

I am happily following several of the Viking Neptune blogs. Thank you for those who are taking the time to blog and post photos. I have to live vicariously till 2025, when we will be World Cruiser's on Viking.

Any guesses on when the next Viking World Cruise will be announced?

Can someone provide a link to the best magnets for your cruise cabin? Too many choices and not sure what to get.....

Thank you all for your replies. I am very happy to know that there apparently is no piped in music, birds tweeting softly is great! I just hate loud, piped in music if you want quiet or to be able to talk without shouting!

I had this discussion with my mother who has done many more cruises than I, that one of her pet peeves on cruise ships (she has done several different lines) is that they pipe music throughout the whole ship, even in the library and she finds it annoying.
My questions is since we want to do a future WC on Viking, but have actually not taken a Viking cruise yet, is there music that is played throughout the ship (hoping not)!

Thanks for the WC links, I will be following along as a future Viking WCruiser!- 1

Sorry to highjack this thread, but I have searched CC and can't find any information on the Aria Amazon River Ship? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Cruisan-Suzan what ship are you going to be on? Others on this thread, I would love to hear more about your experiences.

Thank you Andy. I figured Covid had something to do with it. I don't understand how Myanmar has several overnights in port, while Singapore has one. I do like the current itinerary, but hoping for more Asian ports when we go. Not at all interested in western Africa or many of the South America ports.
Maybe I will see you on our future WC!- 1

Just a couple more years and we will be joining a Viking WC. I'm wondering has anyone got an idea how much if any the itineraries for the WC change from year to year? I have looked closely at the last two itineraries and not much changes. Anyone?

It depends on where you're reading it. On a PC, at the bottom of each post is a link called Older Posts. On mobile devices, typically, at the top, there is a back (left) arrow next to the title that takes you to the blog home. Click the three lines in the upper left for a month archive list. Hope this helps and thanks for reading.
Garry, on my PC, there is no tab called Older posts. There used to be on the old format, but not now. Now, there is an Archive post on the left hand side and I have to click that to see older posts. A little more work, but no biggie. I still like the newer format better as it is much easier to read.

How can I see older posts on your blog? I am trying to catch up from the last week and old format had a tab to see previous post, but now that is gone?

Your blog is so much easier to read now and the photos are better too. Thank you for removing the black background, which made reading very difficult.
i really appreciate all you do.

I am loving all the WC blogs and following along! I am having a harder time reading the kolbsontheroad.blogspot.com because of the background.

Anyone on this board doing a World Cruise this year and blogging about it? I like to follow along….

Is that a private cruise where the organizer brought out the ship and then resell or did you book that directly with Royal? That would make a difference on how the cancellation process would work. Please keep us posted thank you.
There is an organizer for our group of approximately 80 folks, who acts as our liaison (TA) with the cruise line. He is in talk with cruise line for options.
