  1. :oWe've never seen our steward when we arrive at our cabin. We just drop off our jackets and carry on bags and start exploring the ship.

I always leave a note on the bed that requests a top sheet and like magic, that evening, it's there!

be very specific.....a few cruises ago, I requested a top sheet and when we came back from dinner, we did indeed get a top sheet....right on top of the duvet :D

  2. last week on the Golden, we still had to take the life jackets but one difference from all the other Princess musters that we have attended.........during the actual instruction part of the muster, all the staff attendants scattered through out the room (Princess theatre in our case) were constantly tapping passengers on the shoulder and indicating to them to stop doing whatever they were doing (nodding off, texting, talking, fiddling with their jacket, etc) and pay attention to the instructions. I have never seen this behavior before and it was quite obvious that they had been directed to make sure that the passengers were focused on the drill. It was good to see.

  3. if you can possibly change your credit card in their data base before your cruise....DO IT. Our card was compromised two weeks before a b2b2b and didn't have time to give them our new CC number until when we checked in. They assured us that all would be taken care off. NOT......two days into every portion of the cruise(s) we got a letter delivered to our cabin to please come to the purser's desk with a valid credit card. Seems that at the beginning of each portion, they download all your info from the headquarters data base, which contained the old CC number.
