  1. Hello SD folks!

Just had an email from the office saying St. Lucia is now on itinerary instead of Canouan for the April 14-22 BGI-BGI. It says Soufrieres Bay and I don't think we've been there. Does anyone know good options for land or sea adventures? Or beach? Thanks!

  2. So happy to read this! We're going April 14th and I believe that may be the last Caribbean before the crossing! We're past cruisers as well and hope to see some familar faces. Have fun!

  3. Thanks for the response. I can imagine being 25 again (a lovely thought) but even THEN we weren't doing Sweet Caroline except at the occasional wedding. I know there's a door or something between us and the bar. I guess we'll see. Midnight is not exactly early...

We had a friend book this suite and said never again because of the noise - sorry I have no personal experience though but we did stay in the first regular room next to it and kept sending hubby every night to ask them to keep the door closed because it was loud and I wanted to go to bed.

    Hope this helps

Thank you both for this! I'm nervous as well. Not sure what to do. UGH!!!!!

  5. Hi SD lovers! Need some advice. We're splurging on the Admirals Suite on Deck 4 this April in the Caribbean. My only hesitation is this cabin 400 is very near the piano bar and casino. Since we're not late night revelers do you think we'll be bothered by the noise? Any help is appreciated. Sail on!

  6. Appreciate gogo65...This is more than a partial...this group has most cabins we're told...we've just never cruised this way...hard to know...it's not A and K because I looked at their departures...

  7. Hi Ponant lovers and those curious. We've sailed with them a few times now and thoroughly delighted. Post Covid has been challenging for all lines, but we had a fantastic time in France and Italy in May on Le Bougianville. We booked ANTARCTICA for December 26 but told there is a "partial charter"...all cabins are sold the rep said, but would not tell us who the charter company is. We don't want to feel left out etc. so are concerned. Anyone have experience with this? And specifically with Antarctica? Big thanks!

  8. Looks like Ponant is ready for spring/summer Med cruises. Do you know if it's safe to wait until onboard before booking? I don't see where you can book online in advance. We've been with them before but just can't remember and the phones are jammed. Thanks!

  9. Great feedback! Yes go somewhere warm with them....great line. Again I'm curious how you got two cabins. Was it the same price as just paying for two? Our Dec. trip is much more full however (a group of some kind) so maybe we can't get two cabins. Sure would be nice. The suites are all taken... Love the food pix!

  10. Woah woah woah! Again these pictures are GREAT! You know I counted probably 15 different lines that sail here. Do you think Ponant is the best? I know Nat Geo does a great cruise too. I'm feeling Ponant goes all out on food and service. The other 2 cruises we did with them...Corsica and Mexico were fantastic.....thanks for posting!
