  1. Fantastic question! I heard about the Argentinian Peso - Blue Dollar rate - could someone kindly assist with this question?
  2. Oh my gosh, thank you for the information. Just to let you know I saw the menu on their facebook page. Being from Vancouver, BC and Japanese food (and so many other amazing cuisine) are plentiful here, it is hard for me to justify spending almost $60 on a bowl of udon. If you want, I can share the photos. Thanks again!
  3. Hi Again, You mentioned dining at Matsuri, I'm unsure about how the Chilean currency works - for example it shows $35.900 for a bowl of noodles in soup - what is the conversion for this as there is a decimal point. If I just use a currency converter and put in 35900 it comes to $58.66 CAD or $43.58 USD, could that really be what a bowl of noodles cost? Want to definitely try it, but maybe not?
  4. Thanks for taking us along and sharing some great details and photos about the ship and the itinerary. Just 51 sleeps and we will be on the Infinity. Cheers!
  5. Thank you for bringing so many of us on your journey. Everything was super informative and I can't wait until I board the Cloud on the 28th. Quick question, I'm assuming you didn't purchase your air through SS as you are heading off to another GRAND adventure. I loved the Galapagos Islands, definitely one of my favourite trips so far. Looking forward to seeing how your review pans out in real life. Hope to read more about your travels in the future. Cheers and safe travels!
  6. Charla, Love what you have shared so far - I'm curious about your thoughts on how the two lines compare. I'm sailing on the Infinity in March to South America, and then in June I'm sailing on the Seaview in YC to the Med. Have a wonderful trip!!!!
  7. Thank you for the information - I'll definitely look into it. We will be in Antarctica first and then in South America for two months (including our cruise on the Infinity in March).
  8. Quick question on the information about the QR codes and the need for data to use them - do you have an international data plan, or did you purchase one while you are in Chile? If you purchased one, where did you get yours from. I'm from Canada and our data packages internationally are ridiculous. Likely the highest priced cellular plans on this planet.
  9. Oh and please talk about the shore excursions that you choose in the ports - whether you think the price is worth the $, was it advertised well.
  10. Greetings! Really looking forward to following your review. I'll be on the same sailing in March, so any insights regarding ports etc. will be amazing. Thank you for sharing this and I hope you have a wonderful New Year!!! Enjoy!!!
  11. Thanks alithecat for your response. I'm sorry the SS air didn't work for you, but glad you were able to find a routing that was better for you.
  12. I'm so glad I found this post on Cruisecritic - I too will be sailing on Silversea to Antarctica in late January and was wondering why it is such a secret regarding the pre night hotel. Couldn't SS just say, likely staying at either A or B or C. I'm planning to go out an extra day early so that I absolutely do not miss my flight - especially since there is a connection in Toronto (the worst airport for connections in my opinion). Does anyone know if transfers are included if we don't stay at the hotel SS is using for the pre hotel? Thanks!
