The New pricing is about $500 per person less for 7 day Eastern Caribbian on Eurodam..... Called our PCC. First offer was upsell to sy for $299 pp. It was a reasonable offer - but $600 we could use elsewhere... So we declined. They called back and offered $175 pp discount off a future cruise. $350 total towards a next cruise is great except we don't know when we will be able to afford to cruise again AND we would lose current $100 SBC for THIS cruise.

I don't really expect a dollar for dollar re-compensation but what would be nice, is if they offered something that wouldn't really cost them that much.... but would make us feel like we got something special for THIS cruise.

It's just business, I understand that, and we are going to have a GREAT cruise!!

That said, I don't think I will book early again... :(

I'll be on the aft corner deck 5 on Eurodam today. I'll wave to the cameras. They are calling for rain today starting around noon. Rain will not spoil a "dam" sail away!

Oh I am so confused now! I am sorry! And thank you for your offer!!!! What I was actually looking for was how to request a sail away mention on PTZ webcam site. Our dear friends are sailing with us for their first Cruise Nov 30 on Eurodam and I was thinking of sending links to the web cams to our other friends and family to watch our sailing.

I have only been watching for a couple of weeks and am now addicted! :eek:

I really didn't mean to offend anyone, its just that we have cruised exclusively with HAL for many years (just short of 5 stars) and I was a little apprehensive to try another line, but I thought it would be a fun experience and interesting to hear if other "HAL Devotees" had done the same. Sorry if I upset anyone.

I am not offended at all! My first impression regarding your inquiry was that you were seeking advise from fellow HAL cruisers who also may have sailed Princess.

As a regular HAL cruiser trying a different cruise line, I am sure you are excited and perhaps a little apprehensive about trying something new...

Can't wait to hear how your trip went and what you thought of Princess!

Trying Princess for the first time...........have cruised exclusively with HAL (****), but this cruise leaves out of SF to Mexico for 10 days, which is our home, so we're giving it a shot. Big ship, 2600, which we are not use to, but will be fun to try something new...........which us luck!!

Wow! sounds like a fun cruise! There was another thread earlier today where another person was considering a Princess cruise and other HAL loyalists commented positively about the line!

Was looking to book one of the 17 or 18 day Hawaii cruises in Winter/Spring 2016 but only found one.Are they doing away with them?
