I’m a total newbie to this and never cruised from Southampton.  It looks like our cruise leaves out of Ocean terminal but returns to Mayflower.  If we park at Ocean terminal how easy is it to get back to pick our car up when we have disembark at Mayflower? Is there transport available to get back or is it walkable? TIA.

It is possible/probable that the rules will be relaxed within the next couple of months. Those with proof of full vaccination coming from "amber list" countries may not have to self isolate and/or the USA might be added to the "green list"

 

 

Like @Reina del Mar I also hope that entry into the USA for those from the UK is allowed soon. At present we cannot enter the USA, period!!

 

Flossie009 has explained this perfectly.  At the current time you are not allowed to fly into the UK from the US and then board a ship without doing the 10 day quarantine on arrival. But the rules are changing constantly so they could be different by the time you travel.

We are flying into FCO arriving 19:15 on Friday 9 May and staying 2 nights in Civitavecchia before the catching the cruise on Sunday.  I’ve been looking at transfer options, the options appear to be the train, taxi or private transfer. Train will get us in quite late and will then involve a taxi to our accommodation. Last time we were in Rome we caught a bus from the airport straight into Rome and it was perfect for or needs but can’t see a bus that goes to Civitavecchia. 

Long shot I know but is anyone else arriving on afternoon/evening of 9th and would like to share a transfer? Or has anyone done this before and can recommend a good option.
