Am sure it is all suites

Also Sky Suites, the lowest level of Retreat/suites. sky suites aren't being mentioned here.

TYPES OF CABINS ON E-CLASS SHIPS WITH OUTDOOR VERANDAS

So 1) Deluxe Porthole veranda ( a separate, outdoor area which can be accessed even in inclement weather via sliding doors which have curtains to shut out the light. The porthole verandas, sometimes called hull balconies on other cruiselines, are more enclosed than some other balcony cabins but they are totally separate areas from the main cabin and you can sit outside while it's raining. They are very narrow though).

    2)Sunset veranda

    3) Sky Suites which are part of Retreat class

    4) All other suite classes in Retreat Class

    END OF STORY

Okay thanks.  As I said, I had not tried it but seemed possible in theory.

In the past when you got an all cruise free Wifi via your Blue Chip Club/Celebrity Casino status you had to go to the ILounge manager and they had a list of all the people that qualified for the casino benefit. They would then give you a logon code which gave you the free wifi;you didn't need to create a wifi logon iD account and password.During that time you COULD give away your free Elite/Elite+ minutes by creating an account and giving the details to the other person. You would still be able to use your free whole cruise WiFi since you logon via a code. When they started to have the Casino benefit wifi already loaded into your profile and accessed once you create an logon ID and password, then you could no longer double dip. As I have said you can plea your case to the Ilounge manager, I would say that it works about half the time. Personally I don't agree since it is an earned benefit that they are taking away. It's not like trying to take advantage of a BOGO deal where you didn't actually BUY the first item but it was gifted to you and you're looking to get a second item for free. You EARNED those free WiFI minutes!

Edit: Many time an inexperienced I Lounge manager doesn't KNOW how to create and alternative logon ID for you and/or create an loggon code from your free minutes (Which was how one mgr did it, he crested or gave us a 24 hour wifi code) so they can't accommodate the request.

When we sail in the Retreat we each receive the free Premium package.  When I go to log into the ship's Wifi, I am given the option of using my Elite + minutes or the preapid premium account.  Theoretically, I could give someone else my login credentials and they could use those Elite + minutes while I could log in, using the same credentials, and use the prepaid premium package.

I have not tried this but may give it a go on our next cruise.

No you cannot. The only way you can do this is if the free premium package is accessed via a Code. If you need to create a logon ID and password, those are only good for one device at a time UNLESS you have a multidevice package. Otherwise when you try to login it will say another device is using the wifi and do you want to switch devices.

This person knows that she wants the unlimited wifi package because she likes to play games that are online and others stuff that requires you to be online. She does not want to limit herself to 240 minutes and have to remember to sign off each time.

With that being said, what is the point of having the free minutes if she purchased the unlimited wifi package?

If she already purchased an unlimited Wi-Fi pre-cruise then you are correct, basically the free minutes given becomes wasted. You can technically choose to activate the free minutes first, use it until it runs out, then choose the unlimited pre- purchased package. But that's pointless.

When we were on Celebrity Edge in May 2024, the staff at the iLounge helped us with activation to create 2 accounts for hubby and I so we could log in our own iPhone and used our Elite premium wifi whenever we wanted to send out videos, photos or downloaded videos received on WhatsApp. Then we logged out and signed to our own 2nd account with the basic wifi ease kept that on all the time to for texting and checking emails. We didn’t use all of the 90 minutes free wifi for Elite. We’re getting 240 minutes free wifi due to Elite Plus on our next cruise and also have the Basic Wifi as this next cruise was booked 2 years ago when there were 3 perks available.

We have had that done also, but it's totally up to the ILounge people whether or not they are willing to create a second login account. There's nothing written that they gave to do this.

I am elite status and I believe I get 90 free internet minutes. Someone I am traveling with (different cabin and different last name) is elite plus and receives 240 internet minutes. However, she purchased the internet package so she doesn't need the 240 minutes.   Is there a way she can transfer those 240 minutes over to me? Thank you!

There is NO WAY to do what you want to do. The reason being is one can only create one signon and password combination. When you do that you can either choose to activate free Elite+ minutes or activate the pre-purchased unlimited Wifi package - you can't do both simultaneously, nor can you create a second wifi account.

I get great casino (free room) offers from Carnival.  I have just been introduced to URComped.  I heard through the grapevine that once you starting using URComped, you will stop receiving the offers from the cruise line themselves.  I don't want to lose my great offers from Carnival.  Any truth to that rumor?

    Thanks!

Urcomped doesn't work with Carnival. The cruises they offer are mainly from Royal, Celebrity, MSC, and a handful of NCL.

If you book one cruise at the $100 rate, is it possible to book yet another cruiseat that rate?  When I tried last night, that rate was not available

Depends on each rate code. In the fine print it will say how many cruises can be booked under that particular rate code.

I have just received my first "casino offer" email yesterday as I have Diamond status with Caesars Rewards.

What are the gambling requirements, if any with these packages.  I have been known to spend some quality time in the casino.  However, I do NOT want to spend 4-6 hours each day tied to the casino.

Comped cruise offers don't require a guarantee from the cruiser that you'll gamble a certain amount. You can take advantage of the offer and not step into the casino at all and there won't be any issues or charge backs.

So i just read this toilet etiquette on a post!! Do not flush any wet wipes or baby wipes down the toilet. Put them in the garbage can. No sanitary products either. Put in a bag.ask for more bags.

nothing flushes except the thin TP tha Carnival has on board. Otherwise your cabin might get flooded!!!

    lol

Are you saying you didn't know about this until just now? How many cruises have you been on?

I’m not sure what you’re saying, but many of the super long cruises are segmented and have US starting and ending points.

That's not what I meant. On MSC's European sailings, a particular ship will NEVER zero out. That's because every port stop can potentially be embarkation or disembarkation port. For example, the MSC Fantasia will sail the Mediterranean this July and it will do 7 night cruises making 5 ports stops;however, each of the 5 port stops are an embarkation and disembarkation port, which means every port stop the Fantasia makes there will be people starting their cruise, ending their cruise, or in the middle of their cruise. There won't be anytime of any day in July where the ship will ZERO OUT it's passengers.

Is the lounge access thing in the US or everywhere? I have 9 hours to kill in July flying to the UK and last time they never stopped me going in early. Luggage I get but I was doing a connecting flight (connected in Toronto)

Connecting flights seem to be the exception, meaning you can go into the airport lounge at the connecting airport earlier than 3 hrs. Of course each lounge may have different rules so you should checkout what the policy is for the lounge you're interested in going to.

Along the same line is a website called resortpass.com. The OP should checkout all mentioned options and see what works best for them.

I just checked resortpass.com and they have a dayroom at Marriott Miami airport hotel for $125/2 people which is good from 10am-5pm chich would would align perfectly with the OP's schedule AND they have a free airport shuttle. IF I were the OP I would signup with resortpass and sign up for this right away. What's excellent about this arrangement is that the dayroom pass spells out the exact time you have a room. Booking a standard room and just checking out early may not guarantee an early check-in, while this option does. There are other hotels that offer a day room with the same guaranteed hours. One could choose a property on Miami Beach since you literally have the whole day and can enjoy the beach, lunch, early dinner.

I would view this as a no brainer.

Since when? I've never had that restriction before.

It's always been that way. The airport lounges won't allow you to check-in since they have to see your boarding pass.So for example with the OP. If they got to the airport at say, noon, no airport lounge is going to allow them in when their boarding pass says their flight time is 9:00PM. Which lounge are you looking to enter?

If you can find a Celebrity excursion with drop off to Miami, I would choose that option.  Getting from Fort Lauderdale to Miami can be slow, traffic is often quite heavy.

Having your luggage safely in the bus is a stress free way to end a vacation

Never more than 60 minutes. It's really not that big of a deal. An excursion with Celebrity would still end waaaay before their scheduled departure time.

I have a late flight out of MIA this summer (price) and my plan is to just buy a club pass for my airline and hang out there for the day.

Please be aware that airline clubs only allow you to enter the lounge no earlier than THREE HOURS PRIOR to your scheduled departure time.
