It comes up for me after you pick GTY or 'pick my room'.
Thank you. It was very painful to even get to that! Their website was not good to begin with and they made it worse!

I'm trying to check rates on the Carnival website. It used to give options for the different rates. Now I'm only getting Early Saver. I don't book Early Saver. How do I get the other rates to show up?

Anyone know for sure?
We have had robes provided in all our balcony cabins. All sailings with NCL except one were in balconies.

So I'm looking for a spa cabin with a large balcony on the Getaway which I don't think they have so if there is a large balcony cabin with a large bathroom that would be great, then I would just get spa passes
Try B9 cabins: 14150 & 14750. The balconies are a little larger than the other B9 cabins.
The bathrooms are not going to big. They get a little bigger if you go up to a mini-suite.
There are some balcony cabins that have a slightly larger balcony too, but no larger bathrooms.

Is there a big difference in a spa cabin vs regular cabin. What I want is a spa cabin with a large balcony but they don't have that so considering a large balcony cabin with a spa pass.
There are a couple with larger balconies. Which ship?

Hello all. First time poster here. I have a cruise booked with NCL, from Rome to Dubai that leaves at the end of October. We found out a few weeks back that they have canceled our Port Said stop, meaning that we will miss out on seeing the Pyramids.
I'm aware of the power that cruise companies have to change itineraries, but I've see no warnings about Egypt at all. Queries to guest services get first ignored, then directed to guest relations in Florida for written complaint. Does anyone know what happened? Is there a tiny change that they will change their mind and still port there? I've read that happens occasionally, even mid cruise. I am going on my honeymoon, and the pyramids (though I know many have said it's not that special) were a key attraction for us.
Thank you for your thoughts and comments.
If there is a specific place that is really important to you then a cruise is probably not the answer. You should plan a land based trip for those destinations. We've had skipped ports due to weather and civil unrest.
They can and do get cancelled for other reasons too.
BTW: For me, seeing the pyramids in the distance was better than actually going to them.

We went to both. Stopped at Maho on our way to the boat for Pinel.

Hate to hear that,I really wanted to see them .:(
We saw them on NCL Epic. It was a really good show.
I don't know what the current and/or replacement shows are right now, but you can post and search on the NCL board and probably find out.

I have never cruised with Norwegian only royal and a very bad weather carnival.
My question is about entertainment.
royal had very nice vegas type shows each night is it the same way with Norwegian or is it only blue man group each night.
Yes they do. I don't think the blue man group is on NCL anymore.

No self service. NCL usually will do a bag for around $20 each week.

Does anyone know how to get more points on aarp? I had enough to buy $600 worth of gift cards. I can use some more to pay off my current balance.
There are lots of quizzes in "earn points" that you can take. Log into AARP Rewards everyday and you will get more.

Thank you!

Anyone out there know if Norwegian are the only line out there to start charging to see various evening shows?
NCL only charges for dinner shows. Do any of the other cruise lines have dinner shows?

Perhaps you're unaware of the health issues for many when drinking the ship's water? I swell up to the point where my shoes don't fit from the ship's water. The levels of chlorine they use to filter it is what's to blame. When I drink bottled water onboard, I have no swelling.
At home I usually drink tap water, though occasionally take bottled for convience when I leave the house.
I have this issue too. On any cruise line.

We had a sailing where they got enough response that they opened up a 2nd Chef Table for the sailing. Maybe yours will too.

I just got back from the Chef's Table last week. The new menu won't be fleet wide for quite some time. The chef said they were still in the testing process and would have a lot to figure out (money/amounts/etc etc). He had no idea of when it would be fleetwide but made it sound like definitely not til next year.
Thanks for the info!

Anyone heard yet when this is being rolled out to the rest of the fleet?
-
We have done CCLs chef table twice. On 2 different ships. Same exact menu on both ships. Which is why I'm interested in the roll out of this new menu. I do have a CCL cruise booked in October.
-
I was wondering if any one tried the new Chef table menu that's on the Vista.
has anyone heard when it might go fleet wide?
It's sound really good to me.

Back to the original question......... Has anyone heard what the fleet wide rollout schedule is?
-
Any word yet on when this new menu is being deployed to the other ships?

Hi! We have 5 of us booked for the tour through Carnival. In the photos, it looks like the kayaks are all doubles. Has anyone gone and know if there are single kayaks as well?
Sent from my iPhone using Forums
There weren't any when we went last year. Our son was put with another single kayaker.

I am seeing Equinox scheduled for the Caribbean from this November through March 31, 2018. 7 night cruises beginning June 4, 2017 with the longer ones mixed in from September to November. They will switch to Port of Miami as of April 4, 2017.
Does anyone know for sure about switching to MIA on April 4? We are still showing as scheduled for FLL on April 14.
-
We have pre booked a couple of shows.
What is the system for admission. I.e. Is there one queue for people with reservations and another for people without. We don't want to join the wrong queue.
Thanks
Yes, there is.

We did a 3 day and were the 2nd Chef Table on that cruise. Don't know how often that happens.

Does anyone know if these have been rolled out to any ships other than Vista? If not, is there a roll out schedule?
