I always ask the steward for one upon meeting him/her. It's always been delivered promptly!

I did 4 European trips with Gate 1 in the early 2000’s and had great experiences with them (good prices, also). I have only done their independent tours, haven’t tried any of the guided ones. I’m glad to hear they are still good. We’ll go back to Europe someday.
We did a Danube river cruise, with a side trip to Prague, with Gate 1, and it was fantastic! Their prices are good, and service was excellent! I've been browsing their website lately...😉.

Where did you book the Carnival transportation? Was it an excursion that you booked ahead of time?
The Carnival team had a kiosk set up right at the port in Montego Bay. You paid there, and the shuttle took you to Dr.'s Cave Beach and a little shopping area. It was convenient! We didn't book ahead of time, but I had read somewhere that this option existed, and I was pleased to see that it was available.

We were there in April. My husband was leery of getting off the ship, due to the travel advisory. But I talked him into using Carnival's transportation to a beach, and the security there was excellent. (We were in Montego Bay, rather than Ocho Rios.) I actually felt safer than previous trips to Jamaica.

Does it stink when bothered? I’m not going to bother it👍
You need to kill it! They are an invasive species. They're killing trees left and right in my part of Virginia.

I factored that in as well, BUT that doesn’t explain why they are canceling stops in 2024.
My November cruise with Carnival still has Bimini listed. It's one of few "new" ports for me, as I'm Diamond with Carnival, so I'm really looking forward to it. I know it's special to you. Do you have any recommendations 🙂?

Your reviews are always outstanding, but you've outdone yourself with the photography in this one! Wow...just WOW.

Ive never seen a bunk in balcony, always couch.
We've had a balcony room with a pull down bed as well as a couch. Our grandkids took those beds. The pull down was over the couch, so it became like bunk beds.

Why the Pride? I've heard that it's probably the best loved ship of the Spirit class ships, but why do people like it better than the others?
I like the decor, the layout, and I've been on it the most! We live within 3 hours of Baltimore, which has been its homeport for the warm seasons for many years.

I love the Sunshine, with its awesome Serenity areas, as well as any of thr Spirit class ships (especially the Pride)!

I'm on the same cruise! When I got the email saying an itinerary change was coming, I wasn't expecting that! 😁🤣

Yes, there's a pullout clothesline on all Carnival ships I've been on!

The Day Pass at British Colonial Hilton isn't $100, it's $60. https://www.resortpass.com/hotels/british-colonial-hotel
On this site, it's a little more ($66) https://www.bahamasdaypass.com/british-colonial-nassau/

Offers are DEFINITELY not based on status. We've been diamond for a few years and never get those cheap (casino) offers. We aren't gamblers, so no deals.

We had a similar situation in 2019. We were in the hotel the night before our cruise, and my adult daughter developed flu-like symptoms (chills, aches, fever). We went to an Urgent Care facility the next morning, and the diagnosis was Influenza B. We had cruise insurance (through Carnival), so I called my PVP and everything was taken care of. I submitted the Urgent Care report, and we rebooked a cruise for 3 weeks later. The process was exceptionally smooth, since we had the insurance. I will never cruise without it!

Hope everything goes smoothly and stress-free with your travel plans tomorrow! For some reason, we've always had "hiccups" getting home from Europe. 🫤 LOADS of thanks for the marvelous cruise report. You've shown me a few places I'm anxious to visit now.

I prefer the surf and turf, with wasabi mashed potatoes. I usually get the French onion soup, as well. My husband likes the strip loin steak. On our last cruise, he ordered the smoked oysters as an appetizer. The presentation was incredible, and he said the taste was wonderful.

Old School Find….

We have a ton of these from our 90's and early 2000's cruises. We don't use them, but I can't seem to part with them! Nostalgia.
