Not me, I would do the later time. Recently our cruise was delayed because of weather and we did not disembark on time. The later time gives you breathing room.

Do you use your own phone and if so do you need wifi to use it.

If I booked an excursion through the cruise line. I do not take my passport. if I booked an independent excursion through another vendor I take my passport. you cannot do anything without your Passport. You can’t check into a hotel, etc. I was recently on a trip with a lady who had her passport stolen on the airplane. when she landed in London she was not able to go onto the next destination, and had to buy a return trip ticket to fly back to the states. a photo copy of her Passport did no good and no one in the UK cared. Because she had global entry she could fly home without her passport. To get it re-issued by the embassy, She would have to have stayed a few days in London to get this accomplished. because she didn’t have her passport, She couldn’t check into any hotel. Weigh the risks before you decide what is right for you. When I do carry my passport, I carried on my person, not in a handbag. Even on an airplane I carry it on my person.

We are doing this in May. Curious if you bookedit and how it went.

Is the reduction in quality due to the lack of crew? We did back to back in December and on the first 9 days, I learned 80% of the crew were new. Assistant waiters are being promoted after 3 months. Crew are telling us if we don’t rate them high they don’t get a day off. No wonder food and service is not up to your usual standard. Maybe limiting the number of ships sailing until you get your hiring up to par. Why don’t you pay your crew well? They work so hard. Perhaps that is why they didn’t return after covid. Our room steward told us he only gets tips for his wages and most of that goes to the dining room. In addition, I should not have to wait on the phone over an hour to reach the call center. Please provide more detailed descriptions of shore excursions especially travel time. why are their adult games in the pool area that children use (sexiest man competition)? Why can’t I have an issue taken care of or be compensate sooner than later? Don’t make me stand in line to report the same issue every day especially when you know you can’t solve the problem. Why are your itineraries stagnant ex. Galveston goes so few places? i feel like I book a cruise then I am nickeled and dimed at every turn. By the time it is all said and done the price of my room is often double what I thought it would cost. Why not add those things in the price? On the last cruise in Dec. 1/2 of those at at a table of 8 said they won’t sail with RCI again! You won’t be in business long if you don’t get your act together!
