It’s wild how many oil rig’s we’ve seen out here in the North Sea!

This ship is a rockin! (So don’t come a’ knockin!) Although we’re smack in the middle of the ocean!

Man; this piazza trips me out..cuz I’m used to one type (Royal class) and this little “baby” piazza throws me off..haven’t got my bearings down yet..

Just been exploring the ship.. lol guest services line has NEVER went down..apparently a lot of the folks have NO idea how to use a phone app. We just sat down to some lunch at the buffet

Yeah this guy was super nice..he could have just said “NO!” but he said he didn’t want to bother us while we were eating; and just wanted to confirm she was traveling with us, so he can get her added, to have no future issues.

So when we get left Sabatini’s the manager asked me if Jolene was in our party, I said yes. He said he’ll get her added so she can join us in Suite dining. (He said it usually isn’t allowed because it might get too crowded..roll eyes…I’ve NEVER seen suite breakfast crowded; on the last cruise it was always us and two other couples…same here, just us and two other couples. On another note, I found it princess gift cards work differently than carnival. you have to have a balance FIRST, before the gift card can be applied; and only $5000 can be applied. also..somehow I got on the ship without a card, haha.

Actually went to the GYM..and used the treadmills with my aunt. and DOH! Found out I DIDNT pack my running shirt/shorts! Luckily my uncle brought a pair of swim shorts! I wore those. now time to get a shower and go eeeeat

We’re in open water! as a side note; these TV’s are HUGE! And there’s basically two back to back haha

So far so good..but it is only the first day 🙂

It’s so weird; I’m not able to sleep any longer than like 7 hours! I went just before 2300 ship time, and I’m wide awake at 0600. i need to get up and around and cleaned up, and go put in my mile….need to see what deck the walking track is on

I’m also not asking for “something for nothing” It would have been CHEAPER for my aunt to be in the room with my uncle and I (adding a third person to this suite would have only cost an extra $300; instead it was an extra $3200 to book ANOTHER room…so definitely not asking for “something for nothing”

My room is booked for two again. and yes; I do need to be careful as last time on carnival, I used my real name and they stopped me at the terminal.

Like I said, we had no problem with it.

On a funny side note; went to the men’s toilet in front of the theater..GOOD LORD! That’s literally the LARGEST toilet I’ve ever seen on a cruise ship! It had like five urinals and three stalls! It was bigger than staterooms! (Almost the size of my suite TBH!) This ship is small, but the places are LARGE..with the Piazza being (sadly) smaller than the Royal class (which I knew going in)…we’ll see what the next 14 days brings on my feelings of this ship. Yeah..but this room cost $12,000 (if I’d of had to pay for it; I looked it up) no disrespect…but you’d have to be out of your GOARD to pay that for this room!

I’m going to get up at 7 and put my mile in. I’ve got my compression socks on, to see if it’ll help my legs with swelling.

So; we had to set our clocks forward an hour tonight, to match Norway. It’s 2230 right now then. Were going to bed. I guess I didn’t say, but dinner was at Crown grille, which was super elaborate compared to the crown grille on the Royal class boats! (IMHO) We all got the filet for our main course. Quite tasty

Yea; the gal I met on the last cruise dined both in Sabatini’s for breakfast and also reserve collection for dinner; with us. No problem at all. (I don’t think adding ONE person on a party or two or three, is any problem..it’s when ONE couple is in a suite and they bring on 4 other people. just like the Platinum happy hour, or suite lounge happy hours..they don’t care if you bring a friend

Haha the people behind us, way early in the show, we’re like “this guy is NOT funny; let’s leave” lol
