So where do we find the best blueberry pie???

I’m thinking about booking a day pass at Pompano Beach Club Resort. I emailed them and it will be $40 a person with access to beach, pool, chairs and umbrellas. A taxi is about $20-25 each way. Any reviews or opinions?

I did speak to them and they showed me the info. But today I called to request a table for 2 and I asked the question again. And she put me on hold and came back and said that the first test for the first leg is all we will need. There is no second test while onboard. So I’m back where I started… lol

When you complete the ArriveCan, how do you get the QR code to show at the terminal? Will they email it? Or does it stay on the app for me to pull up?

I will definitely follow! Can you please note if they have a shuttle from the ship to Faneuil Hall area in Boston. Also if they tested you on the ship for Canada. I would really appreciate that. Have a great trip!

A few people have said that they didn’t get a second test for the next Canadian leg. I’m hoping that is the case. But RC said they will test. So either way we don’t have to worry about it. Thank you!

Thank you! I actually was asking when they will have the informational meeting. I assume then they will tell us where and when to meet the turnaround morning. So that will happen the day before TAD, correct?

We will be on the same b2b. I’ve always gone to the Caribbean or Bermuda. I was excited to book Canada. And then I read about all these authorizations… Grrrr What will you be doing in Boston? We booked a great excursion through RC to Cape Cod for the day, and they cancelled it! So this is the only port I don’t know what to do. I’ve been there many times so for one day I just can’t decide. Was thinking maybe a Whale Watching trip.

My first leg is Bermuda on Oct 8th, then Canada NE on Oct 13th. I bought a big box of N95 masks. So we will be masking everywhere indoors on the ship. Even to the dining room. I will take it off to eat and that’s about it. Bermuda is only 5 days, so I doubt we can catch it and test positive by the third day. (That’s probably when they will test us for Canada) I can’t wait until all this prep stuff is done and I can start getting excited for the actual cruise.

Your second leg is Canada?

I found out from Royal that they will test us for the second leg to Canada. I also screen shot it just in case. Lol I will be doing my Bermuda TA this week. And I think I will make the appt with Rapid Test and Trace for the proctored test. They have better reviews than Onpoint. Its just so much to remember between the RC check in stuff and the health questions the day before. And then the TA for Bermuda, the ArriveCan for Canada. The testing for both. And everything is done at different times. I should have researched the requirements before I booked. I think I would have changed ports.

Same ship, return and leave on the same day. I just called RC and he showed me where to find the answer because it’s not in the Health Protocols. For guests departing from a North American homeport on consecutive sailings on the same ship You will need to meet any travel requirements that are in place for the first cruise in your series. See requirements by homeport. For most North American consecutive cruises, testing will not be required on subsequent sailings, regardless of vaccination status, the duration of those sailings, or the total duration of your cruise series. There are some exceptions: If your subsequent cruise visits Canada or Bermuda, you will need to complete a test before that sailing commences. Guest Services will contact your before the sailing to arrange for that testing. You are both correct. Thank you so much! It puts my mind at ease, at least for this issue 😃

So RC will still test us while on the Bermuda leg? Someone said they were given the Emed test and had to log on themselves .

Someone on the book just said that RC doesn’t test anymore if you’re doing a B2B. Can anyone confirm this? I will be going to Bermuda first then Canada NE so we will need to test while on the ship. Of course we pick the 2 places that still require testing. Lol Help!

I want to book the Whale Watching boat from the NE Aquarium. It’s not through the ship. We are in port from 7-7. The tour is 10-2. Should I be worried about booking this? Does anyone foresee any issue other than us sinking that we won’t make it back to the ship in time? Even if we get stuck out there, another boat can come get us and still be back by 3 or 4, right??? Guess I’m just looking for reassurance…..
