  1. Come to find out the cost is $319 cheaper and he's taking away $25 in on board credit. I thought that was kind of rude. I won't be using him as a TA in the future.

I wouldn't necessarily call it rude. The OBC the TA gives you is out of their profit (commissions) paid based on your cruise price. Thus if cruise is cheaper, the TA is making less profit, and that is why your (and most) Ta's reduce OBC in these instances.

  2. You will generally find reps from all the cruise lines wandering around, holding clipboards, in the baggage claim area. If you have trouble locating the "Celebrity" rep, just ask any of the other reps, they can usually point out or locate the proper person for you.

  3. We have been on both Eurodam and Eclipse ( sister of Sil) and think the Celebrity "S" class ships win by a mile. In fact we are doing the Sil this March as well...Everything else is comparable in terms of service, food, on board atmosphere, etc. IMHO.

  4. If you don't have any other documented proof of gambling losses, whether losing lottery tickets, or win/loss from other casino's, then by all means request it for proof, to document your write off when you do your taxes.

  5. Having done something similar with Holland America in the carribbean, my travel agent advised me that the cruise line requests 30 days notice of your intentions. I assume Princess would be similar. As previously mentioned, we also confirmed with the purser office shortly after boarding and they had all the required info and were very helpful upon departure as well.
