  1. Just got off Seascape Sunday. I asked our room attendant for distlled water when we first got on. He brought me water in a cup (with a lid). It lasted a couple days, and I just asked for more when I needed it, which he brought with no problems.

  2. I just booked the unlimited digital photo package. The cost for my 7 night cruise was $140 USD, It says that prints can be purchased onboard at a discount.  All the other packages were showing for quite some time, but this package didn't show up until a couple weeks ago. We cruise on May 19.

  3. This is the first, and last, time I will ever use EZ air. I have always booked my own flights in the past. But the prices were great, and they have the guarantee to get you to the ship...

I booked the flights back in February. We had a Quebec to New York cruise, board on Aug 5, ship leaves Aug 6. Had flight originally scheduled to leave Cleveland at 9:30am and get to Quebec at 2:30. Plenty of time to make the ship. Multiple changes from AA later, the flight leaves Cleveland at 6:00am and lands in Quebec at 12:45. Wonderful! We check in for the flight at 7:00pm on Aug 4 and go to bed. We get up at 1:00am on Aug 5 to find that our flight has been changed to Sunday Aug 7. I call EZ Air, amd on the phone with them for over an hour. Best they can do is get is to Montreal at 7:15pm. They tell me from there, I will need to catch a bus, train, or hire a car to get to Quebec. Im sorry, what? They want to abandon us 3 hours from the ship, and tell us to figure out how to get there. This is not the customer service I was expecting from Princess. I will never use this service again! I am fighting for a refund of the airfare (that I probably won't get). Luckily, we are only a 12 hour drive from Quebec, so we jumped in the car and made it in time to have dinner on the ship. Be warned - the guarantee to get you to the ship only works if it is convenient for them! Leaving us stranded in a city we have never been to before with a 3 hour drive to the ship is not what I call getting me to my cruise!

  4. So, let me get this straight. If we are flying into Quebec and going directly to the cruise ship, we need to complete arriveCAN before leaving home, go through customs at the airport, delete the receipt we have, enter a new arriveCAN application, then go to the ship? Is there good wifi at the airport? Will I be completing the second application in baggage claim/in the car on the way to the ship?

  5. When we cruised on Carnival Panorama Feb 2019, we had the drink package. It allowed us to have the alcoholic drinks, yes, but it also gave us bottles of water, bottles of propel water, energy drinks, pop, milkshakes, and juice. It was very easy to get our money worth without being drunk the whole cruise!

Based on past experiences with a cruise that has two days in port before setting sail, we had to be on the ship before 5:00 p..m. on the first day and then could come and go as we pleased.  We enjoyed the overnight in port and then set sail at the appointed time the following afternoon.  In Quebec City, the dock is adjacent to the old part of town and so an easy stroll to enjoy the old part of the city.

Are there many cruises that start with two days in port? This will be our first.

We sailed on this cruise in August 2019. Great cruise, nice ports. We arrived one day early and stayed overnight in Quebec. Gave us time to tour both the upper and lower town. The embarkation process is just like others. Embarkation began around noon on day 1 and remained open through day 2. You could board in the evening on day one if you wanted, or even on day two. Street access to the drop off area was fairly tight and busy with traffic.

We were lucky enough to board a direct non-stop flight to Quebec City. But most of the flights are either through Toronto or Montreal. I spoke with some people that flew to Montreal, stayed overnight and then took the three hour train ride on boarding day to Quebec City. The train station is close to the pier.

Thank you for the information! I never thought about flying to Montreal - didn't know there was a train. SO glad to hear you enjoyed this cruise!

I can't answer your question, but would love to ask you one! What date are you looking at for this cruise? We're currently booked on Caribbean Princess for Septeber 2021 and would love to move it to 2022 but the only ship showing as available is Enchanted Princess. I would much rather take the smaller ship. Thanks for any information you have.

I am booking the August 5, 2022 cruise. It is a ten day cruise.

  9. Looking to use my FCC to book Canada/New England in 2022 on Caribbean Princess. Cruise goes from Quebec to New York city. I see that there is an overnight in Quebec, so embark Friday, leave Saturday. Does anyone know what the embarkation process is? How late can you get on the ship the first day?

    TIA!

  10. It’s been several years since my husband and I sailed on Carnival. We will be on Panorama in February. I understand this ship has the proximity cards, not a slot to open the door. Do the new cards have a hole to hang on a lanyard, or do we need lanyards with the clear plastic “pockets” to put them in?
