From what I have read on here that would suggest the bid has been unsuccessful.
Regarding the embarkation time, in the US anyway it doesn't have to be adhered to. Just turn up and they will let you on, I would assume its the same in the UK don't quote me though.
Out of interest, where is the 1 night cruise to and how much did it cost?
I find it hard to believe that MSC (or any mainstream cruise line for that matter) would be knocking out food comparable to Michelin star restaurant, it takes a lot to gain 1 star never mind 2. Every dish has to be perfection every single time and from what I have read/seen that is certainly not the case.
Yeah we aren't YC so this wont be an option unfortunately.
Thinking about it, its a bit crazy with the limited food options as it is that they only have the buffet open for what is it on Seascape 5-6k people.
From what I have read this is what I plan to do once we are on board our first MSC cruise.
1. Check what time our dinner reservation is and if we want to try and change it head to the main dining room and speak to them.
2. Go and make and speciality restaurant reservations. As we are doing a 2 week b2b will we need to wait until the following week to make them for the second week?
3. Register a credit card for room charges. (I'm sure I have read you go to a machine and register your card, or have I made that up?)
4. Have a little wander and get a drink.
Anything else of any importance I should plan on doing as soon as we are on?
On Cooc Cay for our upcoming Feb cruise it is showing as $169, I could be wrong but sure I have seen it much cheaper.
What have people paid for it in the past and is there any chance of it coming down in price?
