No way they mail from Miami, I live 2 hours from Miami and ours took 10 days to get here. It also had an origin address of California. Also, only my husband’s medallion came in my package, not mine. *****?

Is there a huge difference between the retreat area and the sanctuary? 1st time on princess and trying to see a difference between an area for free and one that seems to be quite a bit of extra dinero.

We went on the Joy in December and LOVED how it was set off from the rest of the casino. It was so much better. The way the 678 casino/atrium/chandelier space is so open means that smoke permeates everything when the casino is so stinky (probably will avoid breakaway again for this reason). Went on a Royal ship which had a smoking casino last week, but it was on deck 4 and not a main area like NCL ships-if it's going to be a main area it needs to be sealed off like the Joy is.

Put one in each of our large suitcases. They work well to track them in the terminal but when our phones are on ship wifi or off they don't work well.

I had been following this thread for a while before making this decision, but I finally told my husband what was going on and we did too. We were on the July 9 Crown and just hopped on Discovery the following day. We had to move our flights one day which was honestly the worst part (dealing with flight credit from Expedia from a canceled trip from 2020..ugh). Called our TA who confirmed that the booking was under the cruise with confidence and we were within 60 days so we had a booking penalty, but it would be reissued as a future cruise credit. We rebooked for Discovery in a balcony for $400 less than I had booked our oceanview on Crown 4 months ago. I'll use the FCC in a few months with the 25% teacher discount my husband gets for a quick weekend/short cruise even if this cruise bites (I doubt it will-we are new to Princess and I have heard this is way outside the norm). We are in Florida so we can hop on a short trip to use the FCC no problem-but we have never been to Alaska, so to plan this trip and to have no time to actually see it was just not happening.

Mine too for July-it has no Juneau or Victoria on the app. How accurate is the app compared to the email with our itinerary change?

I’m thinking of doing this even though my cruise isn’t until July. We have to fly in from Florida and will be first time on Princess and first time to Alaska (seasoned cruisers) and don’t want to have a sour first experience with both. Our honeymoon in December was Crap with cancellations in the middle of Omicron so we don’t want to deal with port cancellations again if we can see it coming this time. Will Princess be accommodating to shift the cruise to the Discovery?
