I honestly wish HAL had a learn how to play craps activity I would have really enjoyed that.

The casino was open and I was playing blackjack the night we left Quebec City. Pretty sure it was open the night before between Montreal and Quebec City as well.

I was in 1893 and parents were in 1895 in June and they were both great. Would absolutely take the cabins again.

This is what bugged my parents. They are normally princess cruisers and have had 0 problems with the medallions and app on them. Why can IT be great on one and so bad on the other when it's the same company‽

Oh you missed a wonderful time Mandy's Husband was one of the officers and it was the day after his birthday so she had the whole Crows Nest singing to him. It was great 😂

This was my family's experience as well it was very hit or miss and honestly at times the messaging would only show. Spinning circle and was unusable.

There was the one day, I think Thursdays 4 pm trivia, that had an extra prize pack from the shops. Also the winners of Officers vs Passenger Trivia got Drinks.

So I wanted to follow up and let people know about my experience. I was in 1893 and had a shower only cabin. It was great. Had plenty of room in the bathroom and while taking a shower. I quickly learned what chairs on board I could easily fit in and had no trouble getting them.

I was impressed that our tour bus arrived at 11:30 on the third and we were basically on and in the state room in a half hour. I had though we would have to hang about the ship for a while first, while waiting for the stateroom to be ready. Pretty sure my bag was delivered by the time I got back from watching us leave from the skydeck.

Sounds like you will have a blast. As a first time cruiser, not knowing exactly what to expect I appreciated the smaller ship because it was fairly easy to navigate around. My parents, as seasoned cruisers appreciated it as our staterooms being midships made it easier to get anywhere without too far a walk due to mobility impairments. I really loved my time on the Zaandam and so happy it wasn't something crazy like Symphony of the Seas, where I feel I would be run ragged trying to do anything.

I too was on the Zaandam last week and I enjoyed the music quite a bit Ian played the piano in Mix every night except one, heard the band at the orange party, the guitarist was good but she was playing the same sets over and over. Mandy and the entertainment team though, they were rocking. Loved all the trivia's at 10/4/8.

I did not see any soot in or around the pool

Last time I was at MV was during off-season and I took the ferry over from woods hole the school bus tour was still running but a bunch of us day trippers also found a smaller van that did an island tour as well at the ferry dock. It was more personal and got to maybe see some places a school bus couldn't go.

That will be a fun time with the Boston faithful. Don't expect a ton of Detroit fans. I have been able to see a few games at Fenway since I live in New England, and the only time I have seen Red Sox fans even close to being out numbered was the first game the Cubs played at Fenway since the 1910's.... It was a heck of an experience for my crazy cub fan heart.
