  1. I concur with the method of making a direct phone call. A few weeks ago I filled out the online form for OBC. Then I decided to make the call instead. It took about 20 minutes but the Azamara agent was excellent, dealt with their “back office” while I waited on the call, and then our three B2B2B cruises were linked. The credits showed on our account immediately and I have already successfully pre-spent the $1200 ($400 per segment) on booking excursions, BTW, I did get a response to my email on the form about a week later but it was quite generic and it was clear that it would have taken a lot more emailing to have this done. Yes! Making the call was far more effective and time efficient.
  2. Thanks for the feedback - sounds great. I'll hope to be as lucky.
  3. That is great. I will hope the policy is still the same. Since it is OBC from the first segment that I most want to roll over, at least that is in my favour.
  4. Very reassuring - thanks so much for the response.
  5. I want to renew this topic as we just booked b2b2b - each segment booked on different days so different booking numbers. I learned of the potential for additional OBC from those who posted here. THANK YOU! We now have an additional $400 for each of the 3 cruises. QUESTION: Was anyone able to roll over unused OBC from one cruise segment to a second when each segment has a different booking number? Has anyone done this successfully? We would prefer to save some of the OBC (we also received a fair bit additional when booking each of these cruises.) from the first to use for the second segment. By the way, each of these three segments has its own booking number. One Azamara rep told me we could not but reading these forums suggests that one rep's answer is not necessarily the same as a second rep's answer to a question.
  6. I am looking for the exact name to be used to address the money order. The closest I can come is the following - can someone who has been successful in getting this information confirmed please advise? Is it this for the money order? Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt - Ottawa (or Montreal?)
  7. Would you also please ask if the fee is $150 per person for 2 entries to Egypt? The time period is within just a 2 week span. Since the price has gone up considerably, I am hoping that $150 will be sufficient. Thanks.
  8. If message reaches the eyes of someone going in person to the Embassy / Consulate, would you please ask the following and let me know? 1. Will the $150 pp fee I have seen posted here cover multiple entries for that time period? (We have flights to Cairo and plan to stay a week but then leave and re- enter for 2 days on a cruise ship a week later…want to be sure we are covered.) 2. are mailed in application forms / passports definitely acceptable to secure a visa? (Return stamped envelope, I know) 3. any estimate of the turnaround time period for mailed in visa applications? Many thanks.
  9. If you are talking to him before he arrives at the consulate/ embassy, will you please ask him to verify that mailed in applications with passports are acceptable? It would be good to get an idea of processing time for mailed applications, as well. We live in Alberta and though I hate to mail in our passports, we may choose that option if verified acceptable. i, too, have tried phoning to no avail. I did get the answering machine once (yeah!) but, alas, no return call to my questions. Thanks.
