  1. Currently on the Princess website: "What is Included The package includes all, fountain sodas, and cans of soda and juices (excluding the fresh juice bar), mocktails, and smoothies as per the menu."
  2. I just read in another post that you can purchase the plus fare drink package (gratuities, internet and drinks) on the ship and do not have to buy it when you purchase the cruise months in advance. Some people are doing this so they don't have to pay extra insurance and/or because they have a lot of OBC. The flyer that was posted did not say that 2 people in a cabin must purchase it. The flyer says: "to upgrade to Princess Plus in the app or ask the crew." Maybe someone onboard can clarify and re-post the flyer? The one I screen shot is really blurry.
  3. It was 2 interior rooms on deck 8. It was my neighbor that received the offer. The rooms were handicap rooms. I am just worried that they won't be able to get what cabins they need next time.
  4. No. But I did buy Cancel for any Reason insurance just in case. I did not buy the Princess cruise line insurance because when I talked to a representative she said: if 1 person cancels in the cabin and if the other person still wants to travel, the person who cancels gets their money back or future cruise credit but the person who still wants to cruise has to pay extra since the cabins are based on double occupancy. So you either both go or no one goes in order to make it cost effective. Outside insurance companies guarantee single occupants don't pay extra. And although Cancel for any Reason only pays back 75% of the fare, it was overall a better deal. Or at least that is how I understand it.
  5. My neighbor already took the offer but I'm not sure it really was a good offer since it might be extremely limiting.
  6. How does it work when you receive an offer from Princess to cancel your cruise, receive a full refund and get a free cruise? What are the parameters of a "free cruise"? Does it have to be same category and same cost? What if you can't find a same cost cruise? What if there is not the same category available? This was the message: Princess is extending a special FREE cruise offer to guests booked on the March 2nd ROYAL PRINCESS sailing. Move to an alternate 10 DAY Mexico sailing & receive: - 100% of cruise fare back (as refundable onboard credit) on your new cruise. any unspent amount will be sent home via check post cruise. - You have up to 2 years to re-book. - Princess EZ air will be fully protected. - Princess will protect your current cruise fare and any amenities & Packages o on your cruise. - Princess will protect up to $400 per person for private travel expenses. This offer is only available by emailing PrincessOffers@PrincessCruises.com Please act quickly as this offer has limited availability and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. We will reply within 24 business hours.
  7. Which insurance or type of policy is needed for an unknown future event of a travel restriction for covid or another pandemic? Most countries have lifted their requirements for being completely vaccinated and/or testing 48-72 hours pre-cruise or pre-travel. Being that there are warnings now for future pandemics, what happens if you can't travel because a country adds back their restrictions and you can not comply, therefore are unable to travel on that trip? Most CFAR policies require that you cancel at least 48-72 hours before the cruise/travel. What happens if the restriction is immediately placed only 24 hours or day of? What policy covers that?
  8. When booking D501, it gave the option of 2 twins/upper and queen/upper, but looking at pictures, there is no upper, only a sofa. How are these reserve collection mini's laid out for 3 people? They all have the triangle symbol. but only a few cabins will allow 3 people to book them online. How many reserve mini's are on the Crown? What is the furthest aft mini reserve cabins on the Crown? We have 3 boys all over 6 feet tall and we are trying to get them as close to the aft as possible but in a reserve cabin. Will the sofa be a pull out or is it head to toe so a 6 ft. person can not stretch out unless they put their feet on the arm rest? Does anyone have a picture with the 3rd bed/berth made?
  9. When I looked at several cruises and categories and different dates that have the Love Boat Sale Banner that includes the WiFi, Crew appreciation, Drinks, etc., You have to choose the Princess Plus option and pay more. This is the same as that has the other banner for the up to 30% off. I was under the impression that the Love Boat sale included all those things for free, at no additional cost. That for the Love Boat Sale special, you would get the WiFi, Crew appreciation, drinks, etc at the Standard price. What is the point of saying it is a sale, when it actually is not? I don't drink alcohol but my sister does, so how is paying for the plus beneficial to me? I was thinking since it was included in the package at no additional cost, then I would just not use it. Can 1 person pay the standard and 1 person pay the plus?
