  1. I just bought 3 different wristbands (marketed for airtags and kids) off Amazon and they arrived today. They all fit me and my 22 year old, 6'2" son too. My sister bought a few other versions to try. So far, we like the silicone ones the best (black/navy 2 pack $11.99, also comes in several other colors). They are soft and smooth and we each had a few holes left so they can fit even a bigger wrist than ours. It also looks like a life preserver which is cool being that we will be on a cruise. It is only open on the front and the back is closed. The clear one is more of a flexible hard plastic (2 pack $9.99 and there are a few other transparent colors). I have it on the 4th hole but it is leaving a band mark on my wrist already and the 3rd hole is too loose. My son touched it and said he didn't like it because it was too rigid. What is cool about this one though is you load the medallion from the back and it has a clear cover on the top. It will be less likely to pop out. Plus clear goes with all outfits and is less conspicuous. The third one (black/purple, 2 pack $9.99) ) is a stretchy elastic, the easiest to take on and off, however is open on both the front and back. I have it set to the largest opening and it is loose. The elastic one would fit any sized wrist. The fourth one (Gray band $15.99 each) is metallic mesh that is magnetic. I'll post an update when my sister gets them. The medallion fit in all the ones that I just tried. I borrowed my neighbors medallion to test them.
  2. Has anyone stayed at the River Rock Casino pre or post cruise? How do you gamble there if you have US dollars? Do you go to the cashier and they exchange it for you? Is it a fair exchange rate? Do you use your debit card or credit card to get cash for the tables? What happens if you win and have a lot of chips to turn in? Do you get CAN dollars back? What /how can you convert back to US dollars?
  3. If you have US dollars, how do they convert to CAN dollars? Can you use your debit card, credit card? What is the exchange rate and do they charge fees?
  4. Does anyone know what the procedure is to gamble at the River Rock Casino? Do you use your credit card? We are from the US so do they accept US dollars?
  5. Sometimes stickers are hard to remove and/or leave residue, so maybe the electrical tape or blue painters tape is better?
  6. You can probably ask for a bed sheet so you don't have to bring one.
  7. Yes, after you do the 30 day consecutive exercise, or 30 days of thier classes, then you win the chance at playing the game. You must win all 50 rounds the fastest in order to win the car. Each round has different rock, paper scissors items so it will get confusing. My bet is no one can win all 50 rounds. Once you loose 1 round, you are out.
  8. I know its an all or nothing deal for the first 2 passengers if you book and pay for it before the cruise, but once you are onboard, and now can pay onboard, is it the same? Each person now has their own medallion app and has their separate payment methods. A cabinmate can't charge on someone else's shipboard account. And what if the 2nd person already bought the Soda package? Can they be forced to upgrade without their authorization? Originally, years ago, if one person wanted the drink package, the drink packages were forced on everyone in the cabin. It was supposedly so there was no sharing. But now it is the 1st and 2nd only with the option of the 3rd and 4th. What's to prevent them from sharing? Logically, it makes no sense.
  9. Because you bought it onboard, did they add taxes for being in Vancouver? Or were you already out in international waters?
  10. What is Journey View? And how does it know what will happen in 7 weeks? Don't they change things up each cruise?
  11. And then you have to play rock, paper and scissors or item A, item B, item C (which they give you the rules before each round as to what item beats another) for 5 - rounds of 10 games and have to win all 50. So even if you exercise 30 consecutive days, or go to their classes for 30 consecutive days, or make a medallion purchase, you are only eligible to play the game which you must win all 5 rounds...all 50 rock, paper, scissors.
  12. Do you have a picture of the wristband? And how much was it? Do they have a lot of large sizes in stock? I read that some ships don't have very many left and they are too small for most except kids and small adults.
  13. What rooms on Dolphin deck did they use? We will be in 2 cabins on Dolphin deck, so will our rooms be previous infected rooms?
  14. But they take all the photos anyways, so wouldn’t it be better to have an all inclusive at $199 or $250 than someone only paying for the 5 photo package at $89 or the 10 at $169?
  15. Can you please do me a favor? What are the photo packages onboard? Can you buy all your digital downloads without buying the Premier drink package? Is there a package for unlimited digital downloads? Not just the 5 or 10?
  16. Can you please do me a favor? What are the photo packages onboard? Can you buy all your digital downloads without buying the Premier drink package? I know on the online personalizer, there are 2 packages that you can pre-buy…for 5 ($89)or 10 ($169) photos plus only those 5 or 10 digital downloads, but how can you get all of them? We have a family of 5 and we usually take over 50 -75 pictures on a 10+ day cruise. I hate to have to go through all of them to pick and choose, it’s easier to just buy all of them in the past for $199.
  17. Well that sucks. We don’t drink, therefore we are prevented on buying all our photos unless we pay $800 each? (10 day cruise).
  18. Yes that is for the Soda package that list CANS as an option for soda. Here is the fine print for the Plus and Premier ... but I haven't read through that so I am not sure if it mentions cans or not. I would think it would since the packages build up from each other. https://www.princess.com/cruise-deals-promotions/plus-premier-cruise-packages/terms-and-conditions/

  20. If there only is the 5 or 10 physical photo package, does it come with only those 5 or 10 digital downloads or do you get them all? How can you get all of the digital downloads for all our pictures? Is the only way to get them is to purchase the Princess Premier package? I am sure with several family members, we will be taking over 100 on a 14 day since everyone takes solos and groups and then just sisters and then just brothers and then just the boys or just the girls and then just the moms with the kids and the dads with the kids, just the cousins, etc. Sometimes we have different shore excursions so we leave the ship at different times, so there are multiple port pictures too.
  21. What is the online link? Can anyone get a coupon book?
  22. Currently on the Princess website: "What is Included The package includes all, fountain sodas, and cans of soda and juices (excluding the fresh juice bar), mocktails, and smoothies as per the menu."
  23. I just read in another post that you can purchase the plus fare drink package (gratuities, internet and drinks) on the ship and do not have to buy it when you purchase the cruise months in advance. Some people are doing this so they don't have to pay extra insurance and/or because they have a lot of OBC. The flyer that was posted did not say that 2 people in a cabin must purchase it. The flyer says: "to upgrade to Princess Plus in the app or ask the crew." Maybe someone onboard can clarify and re-post the flyer? The one I screen shot is really blurry.
  24. It was 2 interior rooms on deck 8. It was my neighbor that received the offer. The rooms were handicap rooms. I am just worried that they won't be able to get what cabins they need next time.
  25. No. But I did buy Cancel for any Reason insurance just in case. I did not buy the Princess cruise line insurance because when I talked to a representative she said: if 1 person cancels in the cabin and if the other person still wants to travel, the person who cancels gets their money back or future cruise credit but the person who still wants to cruise has to pay extra since the cabins are based on double occupancy. So you either both go or no one goes in order to make it cost effective. Outside insurance companies guarantee single occupants don't pay extra. And although Cancel for any Reason only pays back 75% of the fare, it was overall a better deal. Or at least that is how I understand it.
