Wonder in January shouldn't be as crowded
I'd do that. We sail her in October in a JS
Except for yeshiva throughout January. Some solarium bistros are closed for those groups, and other dining venues can be crowded. I think the sweet spot during winter is early December or early February.

Care to share any specific favorite parts of Wonder?
I think I've made it clear that I'm not concerned. I can guarantee I'll have a great time and enjoy plenty of food & drink like every other cruise I've ever taken, I just have a lot of free time right now and like reading opinions.
Finding the flow of people on the ship and doing the opposite. Enjoyed late dinners in the WJ and MDR when it was uncrowded.

Thanks for sharing. I'd wager money that I won't mind some of the things that bothered you but everyone has their own preferences, opinions, things that are important, etc. On the plus side for some of your complaints, we're being treated to a GS by my generous FIL so any lounging time will be spent on the suite sun deck. We never ever sit by the main pool on any ship when we're alone anyway, only the Solarium. The only time I'll spend by the pool on Wonder is when I go to grab food and/or a margarita from El Loco Fresh/attached bar. Oh, and I need to try a Lime & Coconut, not sure if the suite deck bar or others can make those or not.
I had the opposite experience as Orville. That’s the same person that was convinced a Disney ship was docked at Coco Cay, despite the fact it was docked nearby at Castaway Cay.😂 Wonder is a great ship, can’t wait to get back on.

Both of our Prime free cruise certificates are coming soon. We have zoned in on Wonder 7 day or B2B Mariner 4/5 day in January 2024. We would book a junior suite on Wonder or a grand suite on Mariner. We just got off of Wonder a few weeks ago and were in a JS. We had a great time and ate in Coastal Kitchen several nights. However, it was soooo overwhelmingly crowded.
I felt Wonder had busy moments sometimes, but wouldn’t describe it as too crowded overall. Always found a seat everywhere we went. We had memorable times at a couple bars all to ourselves and chatted with a friendly bartender who recommended his favorite drinks to us. Enjoyed late dinners uncrowded. Can’t wait to get back on Wonder.

They’re in business to make profit, not truly benefit the consumer. Insurance companies have countless reasons to deny claims. Even if you read fine print and think it’s a good policy they can still act in bad faith, and make up false or fraudulent reasons for denial of coverage. (e.g., denying coverage of a medical procedure because it’s not FDA approved, the insurance company will falsely say it’s experimental, even though it’s been widely accepted in the medical community for decades and is considered standard of care.)
You can appeal, and seek compensation through legal means if they have bad faith insurance practices that result in delayed treatment and causes unnecessary harm(denying coverage of surgery/physical therapy for a injury that happened during your trip.)

We started small ship sailing a few years ago. We really enjoy it. We also like Voyager class which is a solid compromise between small and big. I have some old reviews of each I can post if you like
Thanks for the review. Glad to hear that about Voyager. Going on Voyager for my first time, it’ll be the smallest ship I’ve been on.

Sailing on Harmony April 29th. This is our fifth RC cruise. It first time since we went vegan.
I have researched and know there will be some options in WJ and I see from menu there is a Vegan starter, main and dessert every day in MDR.
For anyone who has sailed on Harmony and is vegan, any tips for other options? I think Johnny Rockets might have a burger option (for fee). For breakfast it will probably have to be toast with peanut butter and jelly as I don't expect there to be vegan bacon or sausages or vegan butter alternative!
Appteciate any info anyone has. Oh and please if you're not vegan I don't need to hear your opinion on my choice of nutrition or advice/concerns about my protein intake, etc! Thanks
There’s vegan options on the MDR menu everyday. I found them to be very good. In the WJ there’s a couple items labeled vegan, often similar to what’s being offered in the MDR that day. The remainder of the WJ isn’t labeled and leaves you guessing. Items that are probably vegan are avocado toast, oatmeal, pasta, salad, fruit, potatoes. I saw eggplant dishes, breaded cauliflower wings, stuffed peppers with veggies and rice, all tasted great. Here’s the vegan food from Italian night:

Thanks! I guess they are still riding on the Icon hype....before they switch to Utopia...
Not really interested in Utopia as I suspect the same low quality as Wonder - but think it might have influence on Anthem which we love....
Wonder definitely isn’t low quality!

We should all join a union for passengers and refuse to book drink packages until they are forced to lower prices.

I saw the refreshment package for $19.99 during Black Friday sales, which is the lowest I’ve seen it. Deluxe beverage package wasn’t a good deal, it dropped a couples weeks after Black Friday for my cruise.

I have generally seen the more elaborate cakes and displays at dinner time, did you go to windjammer for dinner?
Yes
-
Noticed a $1,000 price drop today on Wonder 2/18/24 ocean view balcony. It was almost $5,000 for 2 people recently, still too high though.

This is from someone else’s YouTube video I was watching of WJ desert on Wonder. I was on Wonder in February and never saw anything like this, no chocolate fondues, or dozens of nicely decorated cakes. Really liked the cruise, but the desert in windjammer was disappointing. Mainly tiny jello cups, slivers of pie, etc. I’ve seen videos of elaborate displays in windjammers. Why is there variance? Is this for special occasions mainly?

On the app go to dining-main dining-MTD-reserve. I think it’s 6:45 start time for all ships but not 100% sure. You watch the safety videos on the app a few hours before your cruise, after you watch them it’ll show a green complete sign on the video, then go to your muster station to confirm you watched the videos, very quick process. Needs to be done day 1 before ship leaves port. The ships Wi-Fi is free for app use, so shouldn’t matter if it’s on airplane mode. You can text people on the app but make sure to go into your phone’s notification settings and have notifications on for the app. Sea passes are on the door when rooms are available 1-2pm. Everyone gets assigned check in times, how strict they are depends on the port. You get on the app 45 days before your cruise and check in, upload a photo of your face similar to what you’d use on a passport photo, passport number, link your credit card, select your boarding time. Put your set sail passes in your apple wallet, or whatever the equivalent is for android. Complete your health questionnaire the day before embarking on the app, few simple questions like are you pregnant or sick. They do 70s parties, when you board look at the apps daily planner do find it and other activities. Menus, drinks, activities, almost everything is on the app.

937.55 economy. DELTA
ATL-FCO 9-23 OUT
FCO-ATL 10-2 RETURN
Arriving early to see Rome for 5 nights, and staying in Florence 5 nights after the cruise. 9/16/2024-10/6/2024. Can’t change the dates because of my work schedule. Prefer to leave and return from GSP and connect in ATL, so that would cost extra but I’d choose ATL if the price was much better. $937 would be a great price, I hope I could book it for that.
-
I’m hoping international flights drop by the time I book for my 9/24 Greek Isles cruise on Odyssey. Currently it’s $3,000-$5,000 for 2 people ATL-FCO 😳

We hypothesized that it's not something that affects many people, and that closing the loophole would cost more than letting those few B2B people "slide".
Does this loophole still exist? I’m doing a 5/4 b2b from PC.

I think there’s more of a party atmosphere out of Miami than other ports such as Canaveral.
