Wow, exactly what I was looking for, thanks

Do you know if there are any Harry Potter areas to visit in Dublin or Dover?

We are traveling to Dublin in May 2020 and since this thread is a bit older, can you update me on a Riverdance and Irish music? We will be in Dublin May 6, 7 and 17, 18. Thanks

We are in Dublin for a couple of days before our cruise in May 2020 and our travel agent booked us at the Maldron hotel on Kevin street. Any reviews on it would be appreciated. I checked it out on Google maps and it looks like there will be plenty of sites to visit from there.

😂😂happens all the time. I'm in New Brunswick about an hour away from Saint John. Sounds like you had a great time.

Our northern route cruise from Amsterdam to New York next month will go to multiple countries, involving four different foreign currencies other than the Euro (and we have plenty of Euros): UK pound (1 stop in Scotland), Danish krone (1 stop in Faeroe Islands and two in Greenland), Icelandic krona (3 stops in Iceland), and Canadian dollar (two stops in Canada). We’ll want to give tips, and possibly buy stuff, at all of our stops.
Do we need to buy small amounts of each of the four currencies, or is it your experience that tour guides and drivers are happy to accept dollars or euros in these places? Thanks.
I live in Canada and we accept American dollars everywhere although you might not get as much on exchange as you would at a bank but you don't really need to bring Cdn dollars. Where are your stops in Canada? Just curious.

DarrenM, I plan to go to the post office tour for sure as I'm a postal worker lol.
Gastro Gnome, the viking duck tour and Vaults Live sounds exciting.

I really like beaver tail and donair. You have to try it some day. I noticed that there is an un-diet and am curious to what that is....

Welcome Jan! I loved Halifax when we visited a few years ago.
We travel to Halifax on a regular basis. Did you do anything interesting while there?

I have been enjoying reading these posts.

On google maps, looks like there are plenty of things to do in the area.

Hello, I'm Jan from New Brunswick Canada and will be cruising in May 2020. Seems like lots of time to get to a decent sized bathing suit. I have about 20 lbs to lose and have tried haphazardly for the last 10 years without much success :(
My problem is not putting in the time to exercise and I know it would help a lot if I did. Working a full time job and a part time one also gets me pretty busy and the only time I would be able to exercise would be from 6-7 am.
I also need some tips on healthy eating and some accountability. My dear husband (DH) has tried to help but it is hit and miss with him. I'm hoping that being on this forum will help me with the accountability issues I have and to meet some new people, maybe even see you on my cruise if you happen to be going on the same one.

Ducklite, I will look for the city hall as I love history. Thanks. I saw a number of restaurants in the area too besides the pubs, anywhere with really good food?

I looked at Google maps and found these interesting areas you pointed out Me♥️cruising. Thanks for helping me out.

As we await our ship set to sail on May 8, 2020, we will be staying at the Maldron hotel on Kevin street. Are there any interesting things to do? I heard that the Church restaurant is a good place to visit. Any ideas would be appreciated.
