It is amazing to see so many officers and show people dining in the WJ at night.
Probably because they arent allowed in MDR
-
It's a case of each to their own. We,although we have sometimes ate in the WJ much prefer the MDR. Being served at your table instead of having to get your own food is all part of the dining experience in the evening.

We will doing a 2 week back to back cruise and in a couple of places we will have been there or there aren't any excursions that we fancy.
Is there anywhere local we can walk to or a short taxi to in Abu Dhabi and Khasab. Things like a beach or town to stroll around, anything really ?

If you have a reservation at At-mosphere restaurant/lounge for Afternoon Tea there is a separate elevator to those going to the observation deck... Although it’s a while since I was last there I feel certain there is also a separate elevator for those with tickets to the Sky Lounge on Level 148...
Anne...
Thanks for your info Anne, have been in touch directly with Burj Khalifa for prices

If we book for afternoon tea do we get a separate lift and maybe not have a big queue for the lift ?
-
We normally go to guest services and have them removed as I like to tip who I choose and give it personally. This has been podsible to do on most of the cruise lines we have been with in the past including R.C.

Spoke to TA and Royal Caribbean are trialing this prepaid grats for MTD again for 2020 but only on certain ships and Jewel is one of them.

I was thinking it must have been a travel agent that either didn't know the rule had changed, or wanted to charge tips for some reason and used the MTD as an excuse.
It is a UK TA

We are in the UK could it be different for you folk in USA ?
-
I have today booked a cruise out of Dubai in Feb.20 I have been told in order to book My Time Dining we have to prepay our gratuities. Is this correct,as it didn't use to be ?
-
Could we request a table for two for dinner,I appreciate we might have to wait for one to become available but wasn't sure if there is the option in the first place.

Our ship will dock in Port Klang, as K.L. is around 90 minutes away is there anywhere closer to go/see
-
Been asked probably thousands of times....
Are the power outlets UK 3 Pin. US 2 Flat Pin or Euro 2 Round Pin ?
-
The cruise specialist company we booked through gave us a departure flight time of 2:15pm from Changi flying to Krabi so there should be plenty time.

I assume your destination is the cruise port in New Jersey. If so taxis are usually available outside the terminal.
Sorry to a hotel in Times Square area first stop pre cruise

All depends on what you want to see,Empire is no longer available on the sightseeing pass. Just bought our passes for Empire separately

Can anyone recommend a reliable limo service to pick up from the airport

Al Baccio is open at 6:30 AM, IIRC, and Oceanview has coffee and hot water for tea 24/7. Coffee is Lavazzo, not bad.
What/where is IIRC ?
