  1. I just booked NCL Bogo, Round trip on our TA cruise to Europe. I am saving over $2000 with NCL. So if that is what it takes, leaving at 10PM to save that much money, count me in.
  2. Good news! I emailed them again today, and all of a sudden it is in my account.
  3. No, But I have never received an email saying they had received it before. It just shows up in my account.
  4. Man am I having trouble getting my obc for my stocks this time. Usually it takes 2 to 3 weeks and it is posted. This time it is going on 6 weeks and nothing. I have emailed them the shares, I have even mailed them all the info. I wish I could find a number that I could call. My PCC has no idea what is going on.
  5. I have heard many horror stories and have heard good things about NCL flights. I guess the question is, is the reward worth the risk? A 2 day pre/post deviation thru NCL may be the answer!!.
  6. I NEED HELP!!! On our April 2025 transatlantic cruise ending in Southampton, I have found out that a round trip airfare back to Ohio for both of us, is a lot cheaper than 2 one way flight's. A round trip ticket out of London for both of us will cost $3898. Then I would not show up for the second part of the ticket. Also if I book our flight our selves, I will also have to pay for the airfare into NYC before the cruise myself, which would be another $400. NCL Bogo all together will cost us $991 total round trip out of Ohio. Is it worth the gamble. I would still pay NCL to fly us in a day early. Has any one had a European flight with NCL?
  7. I have used my shareholder credit several times over the years. It usually shows up in my account in a couple of weeks. But with my European cruise next , I am having problems with NCL posting it, to my account. I have emailed them my account and have even mailed them everything. I have been trying for 6 weeks now. I hope it is posted soon. I wish I could talk to someone, because my PCC has no idea what is going on.
  8. That should tell you how wrong u are!when you get so many that disagree with you!!! Families spend a long time saving for a cruise like this. You talk to a few people who cruise all the time and you think everyone can do it. Sounds to me that you are out of touch with most!!!!
  9. Do you actually ask them that question. Maybe the people you hang out with are in better shape financially then others.
  10. I am confused with your post. We are coming into the canal from the Pacific side and going through. Colon is on the Atlantic side.
  11. That makes no sense. The whole reason for doing this is for fuel efficiency. Coming in the day before and just sit there negates their whole reason for screwing up our trip.
  12. I will let you determine if they did. Coming from LA, they are going to dock in Colon Panama at 7am. It takes about 8hrs to go through the canal. When do you think they will transit the canal?
  13. What do you call cancelling ports that people have saved for years to see. What do you call a day time cruise through the Panama Canal, now going through at night. This has been on many peoples bucket list for years!! They are not saving fuel. How much fuel are they saving. They are going to the same number of ports and the ship is running 24/7. They need to let the passenger's cancel if they want. They sold this cruise as a day time Panama Canal transit and now they are going at night.
  14. You are cruising right past some of these ports. so you cancel them to save fuel, but pick up 2 other ports. You are not saving any fuel. People have saved for years to take these cruises and NCL just changes everything because of fuel? Thys also could add on a fuel surcharge if that was the real issue, and left the cruis the same. What is really the reason!! https://www.cruisehive.com/norwegian-prima-transatlantic-cruise-drops-two-port-visits/144889 From The Article! Norwegian Cruise Line in particular has a well-known habit of “tweaking” itineraries by adjusting port times and shifting or cancelling visits in the name of fuel efficiency and sustainability, but all cruise lines make similar changes occasionally.
  15. Yes, cost cutting!! You will notice that the Big Brass, did not cut their pay and bonuses.
  16. If I do not want the specialty dining pkg, will I still get my free Platinum dinners? Or if I take the 5 Dinners for $100, will I now have 7 dinners, counting my Platinum free dinners?
  17. I just did a mock booking, on our April cruise to Europe. With everything being the same, and with the new 5 day dining pkg the cost is $42 more. What I am not sure of is, with being Platinum, do you still get the free dinners and a bottle of wine with one of them?
  18. NCL cruiser, looking to switch. When you book a cruise with Celebrity, do you get any specialty restaurants at all like NCL does? Or will we pay for any specialty dining?
  19. Has anyone done research on a ETIAS travel authorization, or applied for one?
  20. I agree!! If you are still sailing with them, why penalize you? With some cruise companies if you are 120 days out you can cancel for a full refund.
  21. I WANTED TO BOOK A CRUISE ON THE APEX, BUT WAS TOLD I NEEDED $900 FOR A DOWN PAYMENT. THIS IS FINE, BUT I WAS ALSO TOLD IF I CHANGE MY MIND AND CANCEL A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER, I WOULD LOSE MY DOWN PAYMENT. I WAS ALSO TOLD IF I WANTED TO SWITCH MY CRUISE TO ANOTHER DATE OR SHIP, IT WOULD COST EACH OF US $100. DOES THAT SOUND CORRECT? I WANTED TO CRUISE ON THE APEX, AS I CRUISE MAINLY CRUISE WITH NCL, BUT NOT UNDER THOSE CONDITIONS. PS sorry, I did not realize my caps were on.
  22. I have some questions on booking with Celebrity. I will get the drink and wi-fi package, does Celebrity give you any thing else? Does Celebrity help with shore excursions or specialty dining? When can you book entertainment, or is it on a first come first serve. The Apex looks like a wonderful ship and we would love to try it!! Also do they have anytime dining, at any of their restaurants? If not can you book it when you are booking the cruise?
