This rule was always there they are just choosing to enforce it now. Should have been enforcing it from the beginning instead of making everyone crawl over a million scooters in the hallways. But said scooter has to fit through the door of your cabin and has to stay there when you are in your cabin. 

Who is giving bad reviews of MG? I have been on her three times and she is fantastic. The crew are amazing, food options are amazing. 

Excel ships in general are just really amazing. People will nitpick anything these days.

Likely to happen? No. Then again, I bet if I took bets that gangs would overrun a prison everyone would have said that's insane, why would they even try?

Pretty sure Royal doesn't let Pax just wander outside of the Cruise area without going on an approved excursion.

I think the point is no-one is saying not to go, but to be aware.  I cannot think of a place we decided not to travel to because of heightened security other than one (the Holy Land),  But all should def understand and take reasonable precautions when traveling to some of these areas.  

I guess that was my point I just made it poorly, Is you should use caution whenever you travel rather you traveling within the US or on a cruise, or overseas. Bad things can happen anywhere.

Nope, Cheers includes everything which is why you must purchase it for everyone in the cabin that is of age.

I was in our sailing group on FB and apparently, Vista returned to PC very early and started debarking guests around 5 am. And she moved across the way to load up some things and departed this morning for Spain for her Dry Dock. 

Well, unfortunately, this will not be happening. My girlfriend had a miscarriage today and thankfully my girlfriend is okay but we are still sitting in the hospital currently. Carnival has been really wonderful and understanding and let me transfer this booking because of the circumstances. Apologies to those looking forward to my live. But life happened and the universe decided to take something away from us instead. 

Also Amazon lost my NYE shirt 

Two more days, my last cruise was legit a year ago. Dam I just realized how long it’s been, been such a long year. 

Welp, it is that time, Time for another WahleTail NYE cruise. This time will be ringing in 2024 onboard the Vista. This will actually be my first time onboard a Vista Class. Also, My better half is actually joining me this time. Lucky her I splurged and got us an OS. Pretty sure this will be her first Carnival cruise, I am introducing a blue card :), Lucky her she can board with the important folks in Plats and Diamonds. 😄

This will be another 8 day southern, I don't know why but I really enjoy the southern routes. 

Aw no MG this year? I will be on Vista. 

Better to dock now when they know they can vs waiting until tomorrow when it might be untenable to dock. Carnival is saying Horizon and Celebration will be delayed getting into Miami tomorrow. 

How rough is it out there right now?

I don't envy anyone on a cruise right now who has to go through the gulf or anyone who departed on one out of Florida today it's gonna be a rough night.

I fly in and out of NYC area airports very frequently for work, They are notorious for cascading, hours long delays and cancelations, even early in the morning. The airspace is too congested and the infrastructure simply can't keep up with the demand, even with the recent renovations. Please consider flying in at least one day prior to your cruise.

 

I have thought about flying in a day early. Just haven't decided yet. The last time I was in NYC was in high school on a school trip in which we visited the UN building and such.

Leaves on a Monday, Earliest options all arrive between 7 am-9 am. 

I have a Venezia cruise booked for May and I am trying to figure out which of the three airports I should fly into and out of. This will be my first time cruising out of NYC, I honestly do just plan on flying in the morning of.

I had Simon last year on the Magic he is awkward but a lot of fun.
