Thank you to all the fine folks on this thread who have contributed their experiences. We fly in to Schipol on Thursday to spend a few days with friends before making a connecting flight to Rome on Sunday. Judging from this thread we absolutely need to bid on the upgrade to business class we were offered by ITA and get to Schipol 4-5 hours before our flight. I don't see our family of three being able to only do carry on luggage for our nearly 4 week trip, but I guess I'll see where we can cut back. I'm so relieved I found this thread before we missed our flight on Sunday!

Thank you for being willing to answer questions! We're departing on this cruise on Aug. 3 and we're ridiculously excited. Three years in the making, thanks to covid. Hopefully it won't continue to spoil these plans once we board!

Our departure on the Escape August 3 shows Bamboozled and the MALEVO show as $269 pp. Think this is part of the same batch of errors? I would have expected it to be fixed by now.

Submitted 3 different Haven bids for our cruise on the Escape, departing Civitavecchia on August 3. I've seen a couple folks whose upgrade bids for balcony cabins were accepted already. I am also tracking which cabin classes appear sold out, and all the classes we bid on appear sold out, when earlier this week there were a number of cabins available. Is it common for upgrades to be awarded from the lower class of cabin first and then shuffle to the higher class of cabin? And is it common for cabin classes to appear sold out once they start awarding upgrades, or is it only if they are purchased outright? Just trying to figure out if lots of folks are taking advantage of a last minute deal, or if upgrade awards are resulting in all these recent "sold out" notifications. For what it's worth, all three of our bids still say "pending" - the largest bid (still boardering on "poor" for us) is grouped separately at the top of the update page.

Any word about Splash Academy on the Escape? We're cruising with our 10 year old daughter in August and are hoping it will be fully open so she can get a much needed break from her folks for bit.
