Does Holland America follow the same policy as Royal Caribbean that passengers can take advantage of cruise discounts as long as they have not made their final payment?

Wife & I are planning an Alaska cruise. We are looking at Holland America cruises. We have a 15 year old son that would need a sofa bed for sleeping. It looks like the verandah rooms do not have sofa beds & the only rooms with sofa beds are suites. Is this correct? Any help would be appreciated. TIA
