You definitely should go with the beach club. Hideaway is a party area and the loungers on the beach are very close together. As someone else mentioned, Hideaway has a heated pool, which made it worth paying to go there (we went 3 times in February and March). I wouldn’t pay for Hideaway this time of year. I was at Coco Cay earlier this week. The water temperature in the ocean and Oasis Lagoon was perfect.

Thank you for this. I think we will do the club. Is there a beach there as well?

  2. Good morning

We leave next Monday on Indy (yeah).  I know there is a big difference in price, but I am wondering about the difference in experience of these to spots on the Island.  While the "adults only" is a big draw for us, would we be better at the Club?  Access to beach and pool?  I have read quite a bit and it seems the day pass can be loud, but I read you can go to the end of the beach and it might be quieter.  Wondering if the club is loud also?   TIA

  3. I just did this a few weeks ago. Took about a week.  Funny thing is, I never received and e-mail that it was put onto my account. I noticed it there when I went in to log in. Whalla. There is was. Still never received  an email like it said.

No problem.  The west coast does not have sargassum predominantly it is intermittent due to storms and currents.

One webcam is by International pier,  other further south between Paradise Beach and the southern piers at Intercontinental Presidente. Just google Cozumel webcams, they will give you an indication closer to your visit.

C-leg. Thank you so much for this.

As stated by PP what has happened historically won’t help you plan.

If you are going to the west coast check the webcams it can change according to storms and prevailing currents.

If you are going to the east coast in the summer assume there is sargassum and be thankful if there isn’t.

Thanks for this. We are going to Paradise Beach at the end of May.  Will still enjoy the place as we had a tough winter up north in NE. Again, much appreciated.

  6. I print out sail pass as someone pointed out. I print the luggage tags.  Personally too much going on when trying to check in to be bothered writing on the tag. We go down a day head so when we hit the hotel, we just insert over our address on our clear tags.  Again. all personal preference.  We all have our own routine. What ever works for you.

If mobility is not a problem, you can take the light rail to about 3 blocks from the Hampton Brickell. Seems to me it was about $5pp last time I took it. The Hampton has a shuttle to the port. I think it was $8pp.

Thank you for this. I feel I am looking for the taxi price.  But knowing about the mover helps. I am not cheap but $50.00 plus tip seems high from the airport to the hotel.
