  1. I print out sail pass as someone pointed out. I print the luggage tags.  Personally too much going on when trying to check in to be bothered writing on the tag. We go down a day head so when we hit the hotel, we just insert over our address on our clear tags.  Again. all personal preference.  We all have our own routine. What ever works for you.

If mobility is not a problem, you can take the light rail to about 3 blocks from the Hampton Brickell. Seems to me it was about $5pp last time I took it. The Hampton has a shuttle to the port. I think it was $8pp.

Thank you for this. I feel I am looking for the taxi price.  But knowing about the mover helps. I am not cheap but $50.00 plus tip seems high from the airport to the hotel.

  3. We will be doing the opposite in September. Trying X for the first time.  We are not into the ramped up ships of RCCL any longer and hope this is a good fit for us. Trying the Beyond. and very excited for a bit toned down.  We love RCCL. however, it just does not fit our style any longer. Just wish X did the 4 drink/day because that's about what we need.  Not buying a drink package as hubs no longer imbibes.  We are diamond on R. ( just barely hahha).  We bounce between Princess, NCL and Royal.

Just returned from a wonderful visit to the Marriott curacao and we were so happy and satisfied with their location, service and food.

I booked for a variety of factors: wave action, pool usage, towels provided, and menu.  The added benefits for us were availability of palapa style loungers near the pool (no extra charge), the close proximity and convenience of beach access, beverage and food service personally delivered in a timely manner.  There is also a dedicated adults only pool with an infinity like view straight to the ocean. And a ledge to place ones beverage.

As I looked on google maps, I noticed many of the beachfront hotels have protective barrier reefs aways out.  This area did not, although a bit south had one.  We really enjoyed the rolling waves and the idea of playing in the water.  When we wanted to relax, we just went to the pool.

We were charged $95 total, and received a food/beverage credit of about $40 total.  Bill at the end ended up around $40.

We have been to Avila on a resort pass, and can compare favorably for the Marriott.  I cannot say one is better, but rather the Marriott suited iur needs better.  Transportation was offered at $20 each way via private van.  We arranged pick-up time with driver on our way in.  He gave us contact info if we wanted to adjust the time.

thank you so much for the review. We are still deciding what to do there in September.  Much appreciate

    Just left Paradise Beach.

Food and drinks are solid!  We got a daybed 14.  Highly recommended this bed, close to the pool and straight shot to the beach.

Only negative is that there is a good amount of sargassum.  Workers were working hard to clear it up but I believe it has been an issue for the past week.

thanks for coming back and letting us know. I am leaning towards PB.  Someone on this site brought up Bucannos so looking at that too.
