Hey gang,
I'm on the Royal next week and love a good steam and sauna. Is it worth the money or am I gonna feel obligated that I have to be down there all the time. I've heard it's nice. Fill me in again thanks!

Bahia Cabana may not look like much from the outside but the fish tacos are bad ass!!! Great view and good service. Love it there!!

Good points everyone. We have a group on the Golden Eagle. Are we under "motor sail" the whole time? How many people on board? Thanks for the time
-
Thank you, that is a relief.
Hail to Syracuse, #2 in the country!!!!!

We have been on a couple times during the Madness. Nothing on MUTS but on in the bars and casinos. Casino was fun place to watch. Too bad not on the big screen only Final 4 and championship game up top. Hail 2 Pitt. #19 in the country!!!!!

It was pretty cool to do on the island. They do it up right. Have water stations out there to. Was nice running thru the mangroves and on the air strip

A lot of that has to do with the perspective and zoom of the picture. In each of those 'crowded' pictures that shows perhaps a dozen people total on each side walking along a track that's probably 250-300 feet on each side. And there are a couple of the same people in both images, just walking up/down the starboard and port side.
No, it wasn't crowded.
.
Thanks again for the advice. We've got a fairly large group of runners on this cruise travelling together so this should be nice each morning

The same line of thought can also apply to The Sanctuary and specialty restaurants. We each have our priorities, and to paraphrase Yoda, 'Do or don't, there is no try'. It is what it is.
And for the two weeks I was aboard Royal Princess in December I only WISH my inside cabin was 'just under 400 bucks'. lol ;)
Touché my friend. Good point. I just miss the free steam and sauna. We're on there Feb 16 so looking forward to chillin' out down there

I always enjoyed using the dry sauna and steamroom on my cruise which up until now was free. I also enjoyed the rooms to be separated male and female. The availability and cost is outlandish IMO so I will not be doing this. I do believe I shall stay with the older ships. Too bad as the Royal looked really interesting.
Agree with you completely. Was a good place to wind down when it was free

I was set on Emerald Beach - then I saw your picture LOL What did they have to rent at the dive shop?

Ok gang, gimme the goods on the track on the Royal please! How long and how is the circuit training? How many runners were up there each day? Thanks in advance
-
Thanks for the props Croptop!

All right I'm getting it then. Can't pass it up but it is still rough that they would take it out of the regular change rooms. And only 40 passes sheesh
-
Thanks Fielddreamer for the tip. How's the steam? Super hot? Any aromatherapy wafting thru? And that co-ed? Wow just like Europe
-
That's a shame. I loved the steam and sauna before dinner and my wife could get ready back at the room without me hovering. Now I gotta compete for a pass ugh
-
Is there not a steam and sauna in the change rooms anymore? Can someone let me know. This was a daily ritual on all the other ships, do I have to pay for the week now just to get into the thermal?
Thanks
Craig
