It seems that certain people on CC enjoy to create uncertainty and anxiety amongst (future) passengers. Please discontinue to do this as you are not fully informed about the actual/future situation and not in charge of decision-making. We trust that cruise companies are monitoring the developments in the Middle East and that they will make conscious and wise decisions. 

I hope Barbara Muckerman follows this topic 😉

We got back from dinner at the Grill tonight to find our suitcases stacked on those luggage rack things in the middle of the cabin.  Still more than a whole day to go and they say WE CAN’T WAIT TO GET RID OF YOU.  What a dreadful message this sends to their passengers.  What a message of total contempt.  We have put our cases back in the closet and have thrown the racks into the corridor.  We are cancelling our next trip.  I'll still describe Santorini as best I can and also a wrap-up about this ship. 

I really wonder why you did choose for SS anyway? Are there still some positive notes or is everything just bad???

We booked this cruise and looked forward to visit Madeira. We received an email from Silversea they cancelled this port. Looking at the official Madeira website we read that Madeira is open for all cruise ships??? The email also mentioned going ashore on the Azores Islands ( we will visit 3 of them) is only permitted on Ship excursions??? So this was never mentioned at time of booking…. We think it would be a fare case is Silversea offer his passengers the excursions for free on this specific ports. @SilverseaCruises

People who made this cruise could you please answer this questions:

* silversea provide passengers shuttle service: does the shuttle bring you to the city centers (e.g. Ho Chi Minh City centre)?

* where did the SS anchor in Halong Bay? In Ho Chi Minh, in Nha Trang?

* which beach in Ko Kut would you recommend for snorkelling?
* is it worthy to go off the ship in Sihanoukville? If so, Which beach would you recommend?
