When I cruised the end of May Port Valet was available. (They take your bag(s) to the airport and you don't see them until your final destination). I was off the ship and on the way to the airport by 8:30am. We used digital debark and those with port valet were one of the first ones called.

Port Valet would be a great option, but the OPs flight is at 11:20.  I'm pretty sure that would be too early to use Port Valet.  I think the flight had to be after 1:00 on our last cruise, but definitely worth checking into that option.

  2. The wifi kept going out on debarkation day, so we had to keep reconnecting to the hub app and didn't see when our time was called.  Also, the announcements were not very helpful.  They went directly from self assist and luggage tags 1,2 add 3 to all tags numbers, nothing in between.   Luckily we had a late flight so we just stayed on board as long as we could.

  3. Why not just grab a room on the Port side and not worry about the smoke at all.  It's not like the ship will be going straight North through your whole cruise.  You will be traversing between islands, so it could be going East or West for at least part of the time.  You will be pulling into port around sunrise on some days, so no telling which direction the ship will be facing.  Also, considering that the ship will also be going the opposite direction when you are returning to your home port, either side of the ship will have great views at some point.  And you won't want to miss some of those beautiful late-night Alaskan sunsets.  This picture was taken just after midnight.

Do you approach the commode with your eyes closed? Do you "back-in" from the door? Does your bung orifice make that beeping sound when in reverse? Enquiring minds want to know.

I never implied that the signs were not clearly visible.  I was simply to replying to hurricane0226, who said  "you would think that they would read, especially when sitting on the throne."

And yes occasionally my "bung orifice" does make that sound, but it has never been described as BEEPING!

I would appreciate knowing where to find this information, is it on here or through Carnival when booking and is it available for all/almost all ships/cabins?

Go CCL Navigator.  Yes it has all of the Carnival ships and all cabins.  Some parts of the site are only available to travel agents, but a lot of the information is available to everyone.

I had offer tied to my booking number for my October cruise that stops in Cozumel. Did not try using it as nothing from Carnival interested my wife and me. We have been to Cozumel 12+ times. I wish they sent me a code for my July Europe cruise from Dover where I plan to take some excursions.

Still two say left for this one:

Use code SHXM24 at checkout to receive a 10% discount on shore excursions when booking in two ports, or save 20% when booking in three ports. Hurry, limited time offer ends 05/31/24.    It only gave me 15% off with three, but it's still better than nothing.

For sailings 05/30/24 - 11/10/2025.  Qualifying items must be purchased in the same transaction.  *SHXM24 is an exclusive offer for European sailings embarking from Barcelona, Rome, Lisbon and London (that would be Dover). Excludes: Behind the Fun, Faster to the Fun, and Airport Transfers

FYI don't put them directly in the trash can. Put them in the sanitary bags THEN in the trash. They have to be biohazard disposed.

Just wondering. . .Wouldn't all of the trash on the ship be incinerated, after removing all recyclables?

On most ships, you wouldn't be able to read the sign when you are sitting on the throne, since it's posted on the wall above said thrown.  That is, unless you are sitting backwards.

We just booked 6 excursions (3 for a 7/28 cruise, and 3 for a 8/9 cruise).  After using the SHXM24 code they only took 15% off, instead of 20% (and then rounded it UP another 2 cents per excursion).  Now it looks like I am going to have to spend a few hours on hold to try to get this straightened out.

    Update:

I just spent 46 minutes on the phone with carnival.  They will NOT honor the 20% savings that is listed on the offer.  She kept repeating that the offer says "up to 20% off".  I explained that it goes on to say   receive a 10% discount on shore excursions when booking in two ports, or save 20% when booking in three ports, (not up to 20% when booking in three ports).  Then she said that it is only for cruises embarking from select ports.  I read the part to her where it says "an exclusive offer for European sailings embarking from Barcelona, Rome, Lisbon and London" and we are sailing out of LONDON, which IS one of the four ports included in the offer.  Then she came back with some excursions are excluded.   I again read the part to her that says "excludes: Behind the Fun, Faster to the Fun, and Airport Transfers.", which none of our six excursions are.  Then she just kept going back to . . .it's UP TO 20%.  I asked her to tell me which excursions that would include, and she said she couldn't tell me that.  Looks like Carnival is just NOT going to honor their offer.

The people I did it for do not have accounts. The reservations were linked. I could see everything from my login. I did it all for them. There would be no other way possible they could do this on their own. They are not capable.

Are they just linked cruises, or are there two room with four people all booked through your account?

In the past I have done online check-in for multiple linked reservations more than a few times. I have had people sail with us that do not have computers and can barely work a cell phone.

I could be wrong, but when we did it in the past, I had to log into our traveling partner's account to check them in.
