When did you book, Stacey? My sailing is May 2019 on the Seaview, and my kids are not free, but rather $120 plus the $98 taxes for a total of $218. I wonder if I had booked earlier whether they would have been free. I booked in July 2018.
I booked in may 2018.

I did not see any on Seaside 3 weeks ago.

Yes you can! That's how I used most of my vouchers. You can get cappuccino from most bars, dining room, and even buffet.

I have a June 2019 sailing on the Seview, and my kids are free other than $98pp taxes. I booked this in May 2018. If I do a mock booking for the same sailing today, the kids rate is $279 + tax. It's been my observation that MSC is not offering kids sail free on as many sailings add they used to.

Nice review! We were on the same sailing and had a similar experience with kids age 8 and 3. I posted a review to Facebook and will post it here as well.

No more 18 more for less vouchers, they were done away with last November. However if you booked fantastica before August you will still get your 12 vouchers after March 25th.
I booked fantastica in May 2018 for a June 2019 Seaview sailing. Are you saying I will still get drink vouchers? I do not have the Drinks on Us package.

Seaview Lounge is on Deck 8 (across from the sports bar) and they had live music every night. Early evening they had a guy playing the piano, and later in the evening they had a very good jazz trio.
Also, Timeless no longer has the Michael Jackson impersonator. It's been replaced with a montage of songs from The Greatest Showman.
This is as of the 11/17 sailing.

Water is free for Americans and Canadians.
Clearly, that is not the OPs experience. They are American.

What do your kids not like about mineral water? It's just a term for regular bottled water.

Hmm. is it just me or does the 3-6 group look exactly the same as the 7-11? I don't think my 3 year old is going to be interested in playing on the switch or dodgeball, etc!?

My kids are free on our Seaview sailing for June 2019

Got my two $100 credits! One for me, one for my husband.

Perhaps a good question is the real worth of 10,000 AMEX points. Many experts value AMEX points at a value between 1/2 cent per point to 1 cent per point. So 10,000 would be worth between $50 and $100. As long time AMEX customers we would value it worth close to 1 cent per point...if one is very careful in how they spend their point.
But consider other options. For example, Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Preferred cards give you free Trip Cancellation/Interruption insurance (us to $10,000) for trips charged on their card. This is arguably worth more then 10,000 AMEX points.

The offer I redeemed is spend $500, get $100 statement credit. So the value is $100. ;)

So goes back to say has anyone had any problems with the MSC offer. I have used AMEX offers many times and never had any of them not send the redemption success email right away. Just cursious if anyone had a problem. I read the terms and conditions. But for example I bought a princess gift card in mother’s day with my Amex and they were offering an additional $25 bonus card and that hit right away.
I'm here to find out the same. I've used many Amex offers, and I have always gotten a confirmation email within minutes of making the purchase saying that my offer had been redeemed -- including the Carnival offer. I just applied a $500 payment to my MSC cruise but didn't receive any confirmation email from Amex.
So, has anyone actually received the $100 credit yet?

I would like to know this as well. I'm booked on the Seaview June 2019 in a Fantastica cabin, and it doesn't really seem like there are many benefits above and beyond the Bella experience.

I'm guessing the $55 pricing was a mistake? Current pricing when pre-purchased is $90 for a week spa pass or $99 for spa pass + 30 min massage. Still a great deal.

There is a 97% likelihood that they will start putting up decorations AFTER you disembark.
How unfortunate. :(

Am I to assume that I'm out of luck with holiday decor if I'm sailing 11/19 and returning Thanksgiving day? Everywhere else these days seems to decorate for the holidays immediately after Halloween so this surprises me a bit! lol
I was hoping to get the kid's Christmas portraits done on the ship.....

I have never understood swim diapers...I know they aren't suppose to balloon like regular diapers when they are wet but every since my son peed right through a swim diaper, I have yet to understand their purpose.
They're only meant to catch poop. You're only supposed to put them on immediately before entering the pool because, as you've experienced, they do not absorb urine.

Now, what I didn't mention is I need to renew my children's passports as well. Last year we sailed just with their birth certificates, which is fine but I prefer passports. However, for them I'm just going with the standard renewal (non-expedited) since the birth certificate is still an option.
Thanks to all for the info!
Why are you ok cruising without your children's passports if you're not ok cruising without your own? Birth certificate is still an option for adults too.

Did you ask your server why they were serving soup/salad and app at the same time? Seems like something they could have rectified for you.

Ys, book in her maiden name. She won't have changed her name legally yet anyway presumably, because she probably won't even have a copy of her marriage certificate yet.

You may wish to contact RC directly. Pack and plays and Pullman bunks have height/weight/age restrictions and recommendations.
I'm not sure what you mean. I'm planning to put my 1yo in the pack n play, not a pullman. Pullman would be for the 6yo.

Maybe my city is crazy but I k ow people have more disposable income but taking a cruise vacation is not in their mind. Yeah the same people 2-5 years ago that were in a cruise with a tight budget there is no way you can't convince them to take a cruise again.
Why do people in your city dislike cruising?

Oh no! This has me worried as we will also be in Rome on Wed June 5 (MSC Seaview). Does this only affect the Coliseum?
