  1. I am trying to purchase internet only/no plus or premier package and cannot find where to do that within my reservation.  I spoke to someone on chat and she literally would not answer my question.  Does anyone know how to do this?  We have sailed princess before and I don’t remember them being so not user friendly.  We usually sail other lines and they are far easier to deal with.  I feel like nothing is intuitive on Princess.  I resize it is probably just me, but I cannot figure out how to do anything on their app either.  Thanks

  2. Silly question.  Can we buy this at any time on board or do we have to buy it ahead of time?  Do they ever stop selling it?  We think we might need it occasionally and would prefer to buy it on the days we need it.

I would not worry we cruise 3-4 times a year and never book in advance. There will be more tables opening up on board. The one day you may have an issue is embarkation night or if you need to eat early. We never eat before 7:30 and never have issues. On the ship I am on now there are multiple times available for tonight

    Thanks for this information

I haven't been able to book a specialty dining reservation for the Crown Grill.  I get an error message.  If I do "get in" it will say no availability.

Oh wow.  I guess we will just wait until we get on the ship and hope there is some availability somewhere.

Are you asking about the regular dinner in the MDR, or reserving a specialty restaurant (like Sabatini's or Crown Grill)?

If the MDR then you will be able to make your preference in the app. Be aware that they just changed the options available and are clearing prior choices in the app for all cruises after 9/14/24 (unless you are on the Sun Princess). In that case you can go on the app starting on June 17 to indicate your preference. I will have to leave it to someone else to explain the process for reservations in the MDR if you choose the "reservation" option.

For specialty restaurants, you can make reservations on the app, however they only release so many reservations through the app. If you can't get a reservation in advance, you can do so once you board the ship. I recommend calling or going to the venue on the first day.

What class cabin are you in ?  If it is a full suite or reserve mini suite you don’t make reservations for the MDR

We are just in a regular balcony and picked anytime dining when we booked.  We just wanted to try to book some of the specialty restaurants like Crown Grill.  We are leaving in a few weeks, so maybe we are too late?  I guess they changed the app?  And I am pretty sure last time we were able to book stuff on line but that was a couple of years ago.

Just curious what ship, itinerary?  Regardless, hope you enjoy!

It is nothing exotic but just what we wanted.  On Beyond and Eastern Caribbean: St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and Nassau.  We were limited by our college student’s availability, and the same week on Princess=no Eastern, only Western Caribbean. 😊

Need a self serve laundry try Princess.

    Thanks all

As you can tell, we are new to Celebrity!

We do love Princess but found a good itinerary/price and thought we would try Celebrity.

This was the sole goal for today and it was completed by noon !!! And it was $16 for two! I know @A&L_Ont appreciates the quest!

The rest of the day was a lazy relaxing one, with an afternoon stop at Cafe alBacio for a Ceylon iced tea and awaiting our 3pm daily cheese and crackers, which have been delivered every day since we met our head butler.

Maybe a little time was spent discussing future cruise options with the wife… Hmmmm… I wonder….

Looks very good.  Just wondering if I can be nosy and ask where you got this in Jamaica?  And thanks for the review.  We booked Beyond for 2025.

  10. I think you are happier than you realize.  Always good to make changes when necessary.  But sometimes people don’t realize they are happy, or were happy, until something else happens to them.  And something always does.  I agree that less alcohol is always better, but that’s habitual more than anything.  You will have to replace it with something else to cut down on it.  Yoga maybe?  Something for relaxation.  And if you want to write for a living, write.  But maybe you don’t want your passion to be your source of income? I know a lot of people say do what you love for work, but I am contrarian.
    Anyway, thanks for the review.

It's probably just too early.  One way you could possibly "prove" this would be to look at the ships involved for 2024 and see if all of those same ships are listed for 2025.  Note that this would definitely NOT constitute a "take it to the bank" proof...but it might point out a couple of ships that are "missing".  If those missing ships don't show up for any other itineraries...then that may very well be your indication that the schedule is not fully posted yet.

It does look like all the ships are accounted for in May 2025 😕

Are you looking for one in particular?  Kinda hard to answer unless we know what your interested in...

I noticed that May 2024, there are some more interesting Caribbean itineraries.  Nothing like that in May 2025. Just the usual East/West.  I guess that’s it.
