Thanks for all the responses! A little overwhelming, but lots of helpful information. 5 adults to 1 baby, I think we can manage! 🤞Going to try to answer everyone's comments and questions, and you all can answer/comment on my follow ups.
In our group going, three of us received the cruise from a casino, balcony suites at that! The $200 OBC/person is not from a travel agent, but from the deposit. I have called a few times to ask what the OBC covers and all the customer service people said I could not use OBC towards gratuity and wi-fi, as many of your posters have mentioned.
As far as the room arrangements go, booking wise, room1: my parents, room2: brother and me, room3: husband and baby. We decided to get Princess Premier for room2 since my brother and I drink the most and he is a fitness junkie, but when it comes to actual sleeping arrangements, my brother will be sleeping on his own (or whoever he decides to bring to his room 😂). My brother couldn't find a friend to join, despite us telling them they only had to pay for taxes, fees, and gratuity, and since babies still need to pay taxes and fees, she counts as our 6th person, so no single occupancy charges.
Food wise: She drinks pumped breast milk and is just starting solids, just little pieces of what we eat, so shouldn't be too big of an issue. Sounds like I need to call to make MDR arrangements, like a high chair and time slots.
We requested a refrigerator in each of the rooms to keep my milk. Does it have a small compartment that freezes? Debating whether to bring a small supply of frozen milk, just in case I am unable to produce. Do the rooms have microwaves? If not, is this something we can request?
Things we are definitely bringing for baby: a crap ton of diapers and wipes, inflatable tub, child friendly sanitizer sprays for fabrics and surfaces, Doona car seat and stroller combo (which doesn't need a base, best baby purchase ever! Look it up!), meds
We all have passports. We don't have plans for excursions, but we do plan to get off the ship and explore either via foot or Uber (again, our stroller has a carseat feature without needing a base). Which reminds me, I need to see what there is to do at our ports! Hoping they, some or all, have a nearby beach or something to waddle.
