Hi Good Afternoon,
I was searching on Royal Caribbeans website and it states that the North Star is currently unavailable for Quantum of the Seas. I'm trying to see if there is a charge or it's complimentary. I've read where passengers state it's free and others say there is a charge, when you're in port. Anyway, that's what I was trying to see on the Royal website, when I noticed the update they posted for QOFS. Has anyone heard anything? We are sailing in 2 weeks on QOTS and I'm looking forward to experiencing the North Star.
Thanks!!
Sadly, it won't be fixed until dry-dock at the end of the year so the North Star won't be operating during your cruise.

When is dry dock?
October/November in Singapore. After the Alaska season and before the Australian season

Has Brian Leavitt taken over on Ovation?
Is Ken Jones on Wonder?
Yes to Brian on Ovation and Ken on Wonder.

Fingers crossed with Voyager supposedly coming to Brisbane we might get a few South Pacific itineraries to the ports that Quantum/Ovation (and presumably also Anthem) are too big to get in to. Looking forward to seeing We Will Rock You on Anthem (and also a slight change in restaurants, Johnny Rockets rather than Ovation's Fish & Ships for example).

Captain Ervin is on Voyager

Autumn 2025 thru Spring 2026 go on sale on Wednesday 10/4 at 10am Sydney time. October 2025-April 2026 from Sydney, December 2025-April 2026 from Brisbane.

Still waiting for Voyager (from Rome) in 11/25...
You're likely to be waiting a while. Port bookings show her heading east, and home porting in Brisbane, Australia from mid December 2025.

Captain Krzysztof from Poland is on Quantum

It depends whether or not they're sold out. They had plenty in December, but there were none onboard Brilliance the month before.

I was in an oceanview on Brilliance in November, Deck 2 directly below the centrum. Absolutely no noise inside the room.

Hello!
Does anyone have information on Hawaii 2025 itineraries?
Hawaii is usually released with the Australia itineraries - week of 8th April.

Inaugural been moved forward 3 nights. Added a sailing on the Friday returning on the Monday

You'll easily make a midday flight, you could probably make 1100 if you got off straight away. I got an Uber in December, waited maybe 20 minutes for it to arrive and about the same to the airport.

Any guess what is happening to Radiance post Alaska?
Pre-Covid, Radiance was down here in Australia every summer. Considering we normally share ships with Alaska, with any luck she may be returning to Sydney.

Have you seen something about where she is heading after Europe in 11/25?
Brisbane port bookings suggest she's returning to Australia

Do the Oct'ish 2025 TPACs (ex: Vancouver back to Sydney) fall under the coming soon section? Sometime after the remaining February releases? Any approximate timeframe?
In the past they have been released between March-May when the Australian season is released.

Quantum dry dock is in Singapore this November, which is why there's no TP from Hawaii - Brisbane this year. The Ovation Hawaii - Vancouver which you've screenshotted will almost certainly be either cancelled or swapped to Quantum, as Ovation is not doing Alaska in 2025. Rumours in Australia are Ovation could be heading back to Asia. Quantum is showing up in the Sydney port bookings for a one off in mid-April 2025, so may well be doing Brisbane-Sydney-Hawaii for her TP.

It varies from ship to ship. I was on Ovation in February & November and picked it up from Boleros & The Pub respectively, I then went on Quantum in December, and when I attempted to pick it up from The Pub was told I had to get it from one of the tables set up in the Royal Esplenade.

Hi @little britain, was wondering what time you arrive in Adelaide on Friday? I'm getting conflicting info. TIA

I wish they'd let you just upload a picture you have instead having to take a selfie. Usually when I'm checking late, late in the evening both DW and I don't look our best.
If you open check in on the Royal website it lets you pick a photo. I have always checked in on the app and took a terrible selfie then later have gone on the website and changed it without issue.

The ship is the Celebrity Edge and it would be next December. No overnights in New Zealand. I am not sure which terminal. I was planning on self assist and jumping in a taxi. Any estimates on taxi rates from terminal to airport would be helpful. Thanks for all the information provided.
Then you will be at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, right in Circular Quay between the Opera House and the bridge. Taxis can be found right outside the terminal or the train station is a 5 minute walk

Hi @little britain, I hope you are enjoying your time on Ovation of the Seas. Could you tell us what the entertainment onboard is? We only have Spectra's Cabaret showing up in the planner and I wondered if there were any production shows in the main theatre.
Many thanks
Gail
Ovation has 2 production shows in main theatre, namely Live Love Legs and The Beautiful Dream.

We are on the short 3 nighter out of Brisbane on Quantum and just looking at the planner it shows no availability for Two70 at any of the 4 shows( sold out ) and there is no production style show in the theater on any night either ? Is this normal for RCCL ? No mention of a dress to impress night ?
I did a 3 nighter on Ovation back in November. They did the 2 production shows on the Saturday and Sunday with a comedian the first night.
