We're scheduled in November for our 50th cruise and celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We are both over 70, so we hope things have improved by then.

Our next cruise (#50) is on the Radiance, 11/2020. Looking forward to it and hoping the Corona virus is long gone. We are doing a B2B -- 8 day. 6 day (hopefully.) Sailing with friends who will also be celebrating their 50th cruise. 🙂

Which ship were you on? We have had the issue on Miracle twice, Vista, and Horizon.
Legend this past January.

Probably be difficult. Most of them are directly below the life boats.
-
We too are cove fans for the reasons stated above. Love it when we see the flying fish.

I think it depends on the ship. Our last cruise we were 2 couples at the same table at the Steakhouse. I got a bottle, my wife got a bottle and the other husband got a bottle -- 3 bottles for the table. My wife asked if we could get a bottle to take back to the room and the waitress said "absolutely, but I'll have to open it here." My wife said "not a problem, thank you very much."
We think different ships handle this in different ways.

Cards will be in envelope at your door. You can use your boarding pass to get drinks if you bought cheers before boarding.
Boarding Pass can be used for drinks, not just Cheers.

Excellent! Enjoy and stay safe.

Do you live within driving distance from several ports? That's the disadvantage of living in Western NY. Either fly to Florida, New Orleans or Norfolk or drive 5-6 hours to the port. Not too bad to drive to the east coast ports, but I don't want to cruise from a cold weather area November - April.
Yes, we live in middle GA. Easy drive for us to Jacksonville, Port Canaveral, Tampa, Charleston, SC and Mobile, AL. We have done two cruises out of Miami, but it is a longer drive and traffic can be scary.

After a large recovery yesterday, it looks like the entire market is set for a fall today, not just Carnival.
Under $30 right now.

Thank you for your review. We went on our first cruise in 2004. 4 day out of Cape Canaveral on the Fantasy. We are now booked for number 50 and 51 on the Radiance in November.
So, you may find that it can be habit forming. We are retired so we have a lot of free time to cruise. You may get there too. 🙂

The large grey area is the galley. I would prefer a cabin between the atrium and mid-ship elevators.
Portside 2286-2354. Starboard 2289-2361.
Agree. These should be much quieter.

What cabin number are you looking at on the Vista?

Looking at the Deck Plans for the Mardi Gras, the Havana area is totally different than the Havana area on the Vista, Horizon and Panorama. On these ships the Havana area is aft with a pool, 2 hot tubs and a bar.
On the Mardi Gras deck plans shows the Havana area is forward and just 1 pool, no hot tubs and a small bar.

Sent mine Monday and received confirmation yesterday, but I sent for 2 different cruises and only got confirmation for the one in May, not the one in August. I don't know if they process them differently, or if it just created confusion me sending 2 faxes back to back.
They to have approve it for another year at the annual meeting which I believe is in April.

Just off the Legend on sunday, I got the Tervis tumbler
Love the Tervis. Really keeps our drinks hot or cold. 🙂

Thanks. Looks like I didn't get a warning this time. 🙂
-
We also enjoyed it on the Vista. Really liked the pulled pork.

What does this mean and why?

A photo of the Mardi Gras - that’s great!
Well, not exactly a 'photo' but an 8X10 color print of the Mardi Gras. We did a B2B on the Legend and got 4 of the prints.

I'm not aware of a beach at Amber Cove. There are cabanas that can be rented and you have access to the water from the cabana -- but no sandy beach.
As already stated, there is a very large pool.

Legend in January. Luggage tag and a photo of the Mardi Gras.
