  1. I think it depends on the ship. Our last cruise we were 2 couples at the same table at the Steakhouse. I got a bottle, my wife got a bottle and the other husband got a bottle -- 3 bottles for the table. My wife asked if we could get a bottle to take back to the room and the waitress said "absolutely, but I'll have to open it here." My wife said "not a problem, thank you very much."

We think different ships handle this in different ways.

Do you live within driving distance from several ports?  That's the disadvantage of living in Western NY.  Either fly to Florida, New Orleans or Norfolk or drive 5-6 hours to the port.  Not too bad to drive to the east coast ports, but I don't want to cruise from a cold weather area November - April.

Yes, we live in middle GA. Easy drive for us to Jacksonville, Port Canaveral, Tampa, Charleston, SC and Mobile, AL. We have done two cruises out of Miami, but it is a longer drive and traffic can be scary.

  3. Looking at the Deck Plans for the Mardi Gras, the Havana area is totally different than the Havana area on the Vista, Horizon and Panorama. On these ships the Havana area is aft with a pool, 2 hot tubs and a bar.

On the Mardi Gras deck plans shows the Havana area is forward and just 1 pool, no hot tubs and a small bar.

Sent mine Monday and received confirmation yesterday, but I sent for 2 different cruises and only got confirmation for the one in May, not the one in August. I don't know if they process them differently, or if it just created confusion me sending 2 faxes back to back.

They to have approve it for another year at the annual meeting which I believe is in April.
