  1. There is a bar on deck five near the doors to the lanai on port side that sells cigars. They have a humidor and a cigar menu. I bought one along with a glass of champagne and stepped outside to the smoking area on the lanai, about ten feet from the bar. Sat down at a table with an ashtray and enjoyed the warm tropical breeze as I sipped champagne and puffed away.

  2. I would take deck one middle any day. We have cruised enough to learn that the lower center rooms have the least movement, and are easy for getting on and off the ship.

We never use the elevators either, it is our workout plan to always use the stairs!

Great upgrade in my opinion. The extra bathroom is a great storage room for wet gear.

  3. We are B2B at Christmas this year, can't wait, just a few weeks away!

    The pros:

One week is just too short for ANY cruise.

It is extra relaxing knowing you dont have to worry about missing something. If you miss something, no problem, catch it next week.

The last day of week one is awesome, no cruise is over blues.

Turnaround day is awesome, you get to sleep in, and you have the whole ship to your self for about an hour. And then people slowly filter in.

The crew gets to know you and are surprised to see you the next week. Then you get special treatment.

You can relax at night in your own way on the second week because you have seen the shows.

When you get off after two weeks you are ready to go home. Very little cruise is over blues.

    The cons: none

  4. Aft balconies have nice views and are usually large. They are nice cabins. I have never noticed a soot problem or a real noise problem.

The thing I DO NOT like about any cabin in the back of the ship are the erratic vibrations. The bed sometimes seems to be vibrating, or shaking when trying to sleep.

I now prefer mid ship or slightly forward.

In fact I will select a room in the front before selecting one in the back. The front has a more constant rhythm to the movement rather than an erratic vibration.

The center of the ship is the smoothest ride.
