  1. ORV and MEFIowa both had (B4 and A4) cabins with tubs, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say that your O phone rep was wrong. The tub cabins also got a refurb, but kept their tubs. I hope your cabin has its promised tub 🙂 I'm not a regular tub user, but I had to test out both bath salts that were provided...niiiiicccceeee!
  2. I doubt O will ever ask me, but if they do...I would really like a variety show format more than a Broadway show format. Shows like Carol Burnett, Donny and Marie Osmond, and the (Barbara) Mandrell Sisters were very popular in (I think) the late 70s and early 80s; my whole family would watch them together. And why not throw in a little Lawrence Welk while we're at it (a Lawrence Welk/ Weird Al mashup might be entertaining 😉 ). Some singing, dancing, and comedy skits could be fun and hit a variety of tastes, plus it would fit the small-theater space better than a huge production show.
  3. See post #30 by ORV with pics: He had a B4 with a shower and separate tub. The A4s will look the same. Maybe the phone rep was saying all of the tub A4 were booked, but they didn't say it well?
  4. I'm pretty sure from recent (post-Covid) data analys is that O looks at the percentage of cabins in a single category that have sold as well as the overall bookings, and they only have a sale if x% of the category are unsold. That's why you sometimes see, for example, PH included in a sale for one cruise and not another cruise during the same sale. While there may appear to be availability in many of the categories on your cruise, if there are only a couple of cabins available in each category, they don't need a sale. I could be completely wrong though, and O may change it up in the future, so I'm just speculating and not stating fact.
  5. They still have Canadian bacon...yum!
  6. In the recent past (although the website has had some changes), you need to logon at/after midnight ET. If you are logged on before midnight, you have not been able to make reservations until you log off then back on. This is when the best selection will be available.
  7. ...and we were on the 2nd of two CA coastal sailings where a large number of people did both sailings and were able to book before us even if they were in a G 😮 ...learned my lesson, although if eating at 8 pm means I get to eat with a more international crowd, maybe I can learn to like it even if my waistline doesn't.
  8. Have your TA send you a document with the details. My TA sends me docs called "Guest Statement", Ticket Contract", and "Shore Excursions", but they may be called something else in the UK. The guest statement details what I purchased, promos (like OLife), "extras" (like TA provided OBC or gratuities), cancellation deadlines/penalties, dinner reservation start date, etc.
  9. Another alternative...go to Terrace together early; and I believe Riviera has pizza for dinner in the Waves area now. Dad can have his meal, while you have light appetizers before a late specialty dinner. We did this when there was a "mussels" special in Terrace (I adore mussels!) on one of our 8 pm specialty nights and it worked well.
  10. If you are in B-G cabins you probably want a back-up plan just in case. Last fall I was on a short 7-day cruise that was pretty full, got my reservation date wrong so was 24 hours "late"; the only tables left were shared with 7:30 pm (2 nights) or 8-9 pm for the rest of the nights. With 10 days it might be better, especially if you get on right when reservations open. Also, Europeans tend to prefer later dining so I'll cross my fingers that they are a large percentage on your cruise.
  11. They still have the kennel on QM2, but it's only available for the NYC-Soton run. It fills up fast!
  12. It is 64 shorex per cabin, so 32 for each person. If you take O-Life instead of cruise-only fare, you are paying $6400 for these 64 excursions which can be a good deal if you want to take the O-Life qualifying shore excursions. Maybe browse first to see if the <$200 shorex are the kind you like to take.
  13. If you don't have the brochure you can order one: https://www.oceaniacruises.com/request-brochure or view the e-version: https://www.oceaniacruises.com/emags/around_the_world_2025/ go to p. 27+ for the special functions
  14. 🤣I think they're still bigger than my house!
  15. Oh, sorry. You said "3 excursions…the additional cost covers the excursions so it’s probably financially worth it for that" which I misinterpreted to mean that you had not purchased O-Life yet but were considering it since the Ultimate OLife is available.
  16. Also consider that if you are not starting/ending at one of O's listed airports, you will pay extra; it has been $99 each way but prices having been changing on other things, so... Also, if flying in out early (greater than 3 days if recent CC posts are the new norm) the deviation fee kicks in.
  17. And I have to mention the bathroom/shower size (because a woman on our last cruise was complaining and I couldn't believe she didn't know)...they are tiny in non-suite cabins (A-G). I don't care but some people do. Go on Youtube and search "Oceania" "Regatta" "tour" (and other ship names) and limit it to the last year or so in order to get current videos (post-rehab).
  18. Actually, with the "Ultimate O-Life" (all 3 included), you get the cost of O-Life back in OBC (e.g., pay $300pp for O-Life, get $300pp OBC...kind of like prepaying some/all of the cabin gratuities). So, the shorex and wine/beer at meals that you choose to receive is actually closer to "free" than with regular O-Life.
  19. I just noticed on your earlier post that you are interested in another drink. There is a Martinis menu on the O site: https://www.oceaniacruises.com/ships/riviera/life-on-board
  20. Here's a screen shot of an old Martinis menu. They were refurbed for 2023.
  21. I'm not sure this answers your question, but the S would be between the price of a D and F cabin if occupied by a single. You can see the actual price if you do a mock booking.
  22. If you click on the link to the right "Cruises that visit this port" and choose a cruise closer to sailing, you'll be able to see (approximate...may change in a year or so) prices.
  23. According to O's Victoria BC shorex, that would be Tim Hortons 😉
  24. Go to posts 1, 3, and 9. Those drinks are included in the Prestige package at any time. If you have the House Select package (the one that is an O-Life choice), only the wines and beers are included with lunch and dinner.
