We will be flying into IAH the night before our cruise. We do not land until 8:30 pm local time. I am looking for hotel recommendations between IAH and Galveston that are within walking distance and walkably SAFE to a sit down restaurants that will still be open late night (we will be with teens, so generic chain restaurants preferred, but open to all options)
We will Uber to the hotel and then again in the morning to Galveston cruise port

We have onboard credit given to us by Royal when we booked. It is showing up in my cruise planner and I am able to use it to pre purchase beverage package, wifi, etc. This is new to me that is can actually be used pre cruise.
My question, I have often read many of you state that a beverage or wifi package can be canceled and rebooked if/when a lower price becomes available. If I buy now, using my OBC and cancel and repurchase if/when a lower price become available, is my OBC refundable/reusable?

Watching You-tube, I came across multiple videos of cliff jumping at a yellow walled, outdoor, bar type building. Can anyone identify the location? We would love to visit on our upcoming cruise.

Is peanut butter available at breakfast or lunch in the Windjammer? Or anywhere else during the day? We will be on Navigator.

I was told if you took immediate OBC and used it on the cruise in which you were on when you booked the future cruise, you can change as many times as you want without penalty.
If you opted for future OBC, then you can change 2 times and keep your OBC, a 3rd change will result in the lose of your OBC.
Not sure if this is correct, but it was the info I was given when changing a future booking.

Thank you, I have seen the compasses from this specific thread. I am worried that the additional holiday events (Tree Lighting, Santa arrival) would change the show times so I am looking for some thing from January, after the holiday sailing.

We are boarding the Navigator om Friday for a 9 day ABC cruise. Is there something I can find for you?
BTW - You might find somebody on your roll call already has them.
Im specifically looking for nightly show times.

Does anyone have recent compasses for the 9 night , ABC islands, Navigator cruise that you are able to share?
The only ones I have seen were from holiday season, and had "special" holiday parades and Santa visit. I seemed like the show times might have been adjusted to accommodate these special occurrences.

We just stayed last week at La Quinta hotel in Hollywood very reasonable, very clean and free breakfast. Then we used SAS transportation at $13 a person to go to Miami

brownie sundae- Its on the kids menu, but unless you have a child with you , you may not ever look at the kids menu.

Looking into the new coffee card $31 + tax for 15 drinks.. Does Café Lattetudes make frozen "Frappuccino" type drinks? Do they have a variety of flavors or only the basic.
I love a good iced caramel macchiato or Chi Tea. Kids love caramel Frappuccinos.
I am fine with basic coffee for the AM, but with get some thing "extra" if a good deal.

I don't really want to rely on a wake up call (maybe I'm too much of a worry wart).
IMO, that is the best way of making sure you are up in time for port excursions. An on ship wake up call will always be "on ship time"

I say stay any where south of the airport on I95, Griffin RD., Stirling Rd., Sheridan St.
All three interchanges have multiple hotel choices.
Don't go to fort Lauderdale, its the wrong direction.
Are these all safe areas?

I think though that I need to edit my original question. I guess what I need to know is what area should I be looking for a hotel. Like a few pointed out, I don't want to be heading in the wrong direction.

We will be arriving into FLL at 10:50PM and cruising out of Miami the next day. What hotel would you recommend for a one night, only need to sleep hotel?
We are a family of 4 with 2 kids in their early teens.
No Motel 6 suggestions please.

If person 1 is logged on and person 2 trys to connect, who gets this message, person 1 or 2?
We have purchased Voom for our upcoming cruise. Adults would like to use Voom early morning before the teens wake up. Do we need the teens to log off before going to bed, or will adults be able to "Swith Devices"
