We arrived to our aft balcony room to find it a complete dump - peeling wallpaper, rusting soap dish in the shower, yellow stains on the light diffusers in the bathroom, holes worn through the fabric of the chairs and on and on.
Oh my! Which ship was this?

Good morning.
Our October 2024 cruise is scheduled to stop in Piraeus from 6:00-17:00. Could we could take a morning ferry to Aegina and spent 4-5 hours before heading back to our ship? How far are the ferry docks from cruise docks and is this trip even realistic given our time constraints?
Thanks!

I sailed twice with Royal in the last six months, and I kept thinking about how much I missed Carnival's MDR which has meals that I can pronounce and actually enjoy!
Royal felt a just little pretentious.

If my ship is scheduled to arrive at 7 a.m. in Fort Lauderdale, how risky is it to book a 1:15 pm flight from Miami?
Thanks.

I sailed on Breakaway last May and really enjoyed it. It has flaws, but overall it's a beautiful ship. The food in the main dining room was great as well as the shows in the theater.

I love this and hope they mean it, but we have to see some enforcement.
I imagine there will be no enforcement, but plenty of fines assessed. 🤑

Personally, while many of you think this is about weed, I disagree. Weed doesn't make people combative and unruly.
But it does create a terrible stench on balconies. 😖

I want to book a Dec. 2024 Eastern Caribbean cruise. Carnival Magic and Vista have the same itineraries, departure date and length. The only difference is Vista leaves from Port Canaveral and Magic from Miami.
I haven't been on either ship before. All things being equal, which ship would you choose?
Thanks.

Just got off a Royal cruise where they offered a behind-the-scenes tour for $179 pp! I wanted to do it, but not for that price.
Does Norwegian offer a similar tour and, if so, any idea how much it costs?
Thanks.

I carry on one bag no matter how long the cruise is.
Hah! I need one bag for just my medicines & cpap machine! 🤣

I called today and had the open bar gratuities removed from two of my booked cruises...the ones with the fewest sea days. If I'm in port all day, I won't be buying that many drinks on the ship.

I'm assuming it would be a simple phone call, but I'm just wondering if anyone has removed the open bar gratuities after booking (but before final payment)?
Thanks.

Would be happy to answer any questions....
We sailed on Freedom last year...no complaints. Is Monika still working in the MDR? We loved her!

I've only been on Royal three times and Carnival twice. The Carnival MDR has good food that's less "fancy", and that's fine with me! Blue Iguana and Guy's Burgers are both free and very good! Carnival buffet is not as good as Windjammer...however...even if it was between meals, we were able to sit there and have a coffee or play cards.

This is commonly described as Fall 24-Winter 25 schedules. They will probably be out April or May.
Or Spring 24-Summer 25 in Australia/NZ. 😉🤣

I'm hoping to cruise to New Zealand in 2025. Celebrity and Norwegian have already released their 1Q 2025 NZ cruises. I'm holding out for Holland America because they offer one-way itineraries. Does anyone have an idea when HAL will release their 2025 schedule?
Thanks.

Any feedback on just finding out my April 16th cruise on the Prima will be hosting a chartered Soca cruise. It looks like it's possible the music and parties will be 24/7, on the pool deck, in the hallways.
It's also April vacation for NE schools so possibly a lot of young families planning to go. I'm looking at other reviews of Soca cruises and YouTube videos and it really does look like a nonstop party.
OMG, why isn't this an entire ship charter?!

That part is surprising. Our's shows up as 'airfare' and is part of our detailed online bill although @nwcruiseloveris correct that the itinerary doesn't show up. You'll get that in a separate email and 'manage' that through the airline's website.
I logged out and quit my browser. The total due now includes the airfare. Thanks.

I have booked with Fly2Fun only once, a year ago. My flight was also not showing up in “Manage My Booking.” I had a printout from when I first booked the flight, but from then until the flight was actually ticketed, I had nowhere on Carnival’s website to see the flight booking. I could only see it by going to the airline’s website.
Thanks. That's strange because the airfare isn't reflected in the total balance due. I wonder how to eventually pay for it.

I just booked flights using Fly2Fun, but I don't see them in Manage > My Booking or Booking Details.
Will they appear eventually or am I looking in the wrong place?
Thanks.

I just booked a front-facing oceanview cabin on deck 7 on Equinox. I know that the window overlooks the helipad. Does anyone have first-hand knowledge they can share? Thanks.
Is there a direct bus from VCE to Triste?
in Italy Ports
Posted
We are leaving on a cruise from Trieste, Italy in Oct. 2024. I plan to fly into Marco Polo airport, then stay a couple of nights in Trieste pre-cruise.
Does anyone know if there a bus that leaves VCE and arrives in Trieste?
Thanks!
