  1. Yes Sir. So true. No need for CC etiquette. I just wanted to know how you enjoyed the performance.
  2. I agree with you Bruce. I just came back from Rome and used RIL and I booked 4 months in advance and was glad I did.
  3. Hello again Mr. Morpheus. Sorry I'm late to the "Observations From the Poop Deck" party on Beyond. It is a pleasure once again to follow you and the Mrs. on your adventure.
  4. I used this area for reading on the TA. But on seadays, it got filled up early in the day.
  5. We were on the TA cruise returning 6Nov. We had chocolates on evening turndown but we were in Aqua class. This may be one of the cutbacks.
  6. @cleobellaWe are booked on the Jan 15, 2024 sailing.
  7. Just got off the Constellation and we booked Solstice Jan 2024 Singapore-Hong Kong. Booking onboard, we only had to put up $100/pp so even if we cancel, we are only out $200. I will be keeping an eye on the obstacles. I have not heard anything about Singapore.
  8. I asked a crew member and this is a one time thing when they first come in from a repositioning from outside the US to the US. They probably have to do the same thing going the other way.
  9. In Tampa, all of the crew had to go through Immigration before we could get off.
  10. Final Thoughts-- Sorry for the late post. I just now today was able to sign in. First, We had the most wonderful time on this adventure. Starting in Rome for 4 days with tours of the city and Vatican, to outside the city in the country side and underground in the Catacombs. I will say one thing, for a ship this age, she is still holding her own. Very enjoyable, comfortable and still elegant for her age, but I am partial to M class. As far as the food, OVC was good, BLU was good, Le Petit Chef was good but Tuscan Grille was just OK and it may have been what I ordered which was the Veal Marsala. It was rubbery and hard to chew and my homemade pasta tasted like raw uncooked flour. My cousin had the steak and said it was very good so I chalk it up to "when in a steak restaurant, order the steak". The staff was always friendly and quick to do anything for us and after a few days, everybody called us by our name (kinda like CHEERS!). We couldn't have special ordered weather as good as we had. All 3 weeks worth, except for one or two days of rough seas. Anyway, just wanted to let you know my thoughts. I would recommend the Constellation any day, any cruise.
  11. I too have had the lemon tarts onboard and they are still good but maybe not as "lemony".
  12. Here's something different from The Azores. We bought these potato chips from a food truck at one of our stops on our tour to the twin lakes in Ponta Delgado and they were so good. Wish I could get them in the USA
  13. It's a little chilly out today but skies are blue and waves are rolling just slightly.
  14. Was in the Persian Garden this morning and for the person that asked about the heated lounges, actually it's a long curved bench, they are in fact heated and ever so comfy.
  15. David, glad to hear you're feeling better this morning. Arriving Ponta Del Gada.
  16. Rough seas still. So much that they have put out sick bags throughout the ship.
  17. The mountain on the left in the far distance in the second photo is the water source for the aqueducts. It's 10 miles from Rome.
