  1. The OP had Chef's Table on Caribbean Princess which is not Lumiere, but I had many of the same dishes OP had on Discovery, which is a Lumiere experience. With all this said, this is anecdotal evidence. I'm actually now curious where the OP got their information from?
  2. We were on the Discovery last month, early October. We ALSO had choice of veal or salmon and the dessert was the lemon. While it's nice to hear that others in this thread had meals different than ours, if this phenomenon spreads and chefs are not given the opportunity to craft their own menus, we will no longer be interested. Truly disappointing.
  3. I did the Royal Tea on the Regal back in April 2018 and I know that it was more than $10pp at that time, though I'm not sure what the price is now. We were seated in the Piazza in the elevated booth area and there were about nine of us in my group. Delicious! In 2019, I attempted to do this again with some friends on the Royal, but we were told there wasn't enough interest from people on the ship to justify holding a session for us to attend. I imagine this would've been much like if not enough people signed up for the ship to do a Chef's Table. Post-restart, I have inquired about doing this again or putting my name on a list to express interest, but I was told that they hadn't started doing it again. Hopefully this has changed! Of note, the Princess website says the Royal Tea is only held on the Royal, Regal, Enchanted, Sky, and Diamond Princess ships.
  4. I sent in an email with my investment report this afternoon and received the shareholder credit applied to two different cruises in a record 16 MINUTES! Somebody's really on the ball today. A big kudos from me to them.
  5. The last time I had this was on the Regal in 2018 - super delicious! However, when my group attempted to have it on the Royal Princess in Nov 2019, they said that there weren't enough people who showed interest to hold one. By the numbers, my group in 2018 was ~10 people, and in 2019, we had six.
  6. For one Chef's Table, one of our friends notified them of a dairy allergy and he was subsequently denied entry. Indeed, there's a lot of cream, butter, and cheese that goes into the dishes, so keep that in mind if lactose is a concern.
  7. e.g. German night, Mexican night, Seafood extravaganza...
