  1. I got off the Summit on Monday, which would have been the last sailing before this. No signs of anything wrong at all. Hope this all gets sorted out soon. Sorry about the bad experience 😕
  2. I’m in the same boat - got a bunch of offers for free cabins in the past couple years. Mostly interiors, and a veranda or two. Since December or January I have gotten at least 6 offers, but they’re all just $100 off. I can’t really complain, as I really never gambled enough to justify getting comps. It’s disappointing, but I fully understand. If I was dropping thousands in the casino on all my cruises I’d probably be upset, but I never lose more than a couple hundred dollars.
  3. I recently booked on a casino offer for up to balcony room, however only rooms available were interiors, so I booked a cloud 9 spa interior. In this situation, would it be possible to check if balcony becomes available, since the offer was originally for a balcony? Cruise doesn't depart until early 2025.
  4. Tried chrome/edge/firefox/safari and all got the same errors.
  5. Thanks for the reply. I guess it makes me feel better that it isn't just me, or a potential issue with my booking. It's my first cruise with MSC so I wasn't sure if this was the norm or not.
  6. I have a 10 night European cruise on MSC Orchestra in June of this year. It was booked about 3 weeks ago. When trying to view it on the MSC website, I get the following errors - "If you are unable to see your cruise details and you have a reservation with us, please add your booking number in your Account Settings. If you do not have a reservation, now is the perfect time to start planning your next cruise vacation! Plan my next cruise." When I go to add the booking number I get the following - "Booking number already linked" But it won't allow me to actually view it. The process just repeats. If I logout and just try to pull up using the itinerary number without logging in, I can view certain things like excursions and dining. Is there any way just to view the reservation itself, with stateroom assignements? It was booked as a oceanview guarantee, but I think they assigned a balcony room. Is there any way to see this on their website? The app also didn't work. Thanks for any advice.
  7. Thanks for all the quick info! All I see regarding the casino offer is what I attached here - I guess they could hopefully get it off of that. Will have the original offer email, as well.
  8. I recently booked a casino match offer that included free drinks in casino and a little bit of free play. The offer was booked and I received confirmation. It doesn't state anywhere on my reservation that casino drinks/free play are included. Is this normal, or do I need to do something about it? Thanks.
  9. I am a very light gambler. Tier is Onyx - only reached that because of about 5 comped cruises in the past 12-18 months. No idea why I get offers, but I keep booking them. Have 3 booked for the next 3 months. To answer your question - I currently have a couple offers on my BCC - 23HOL206 is the latest comp offer (expires tomorrow) - Interior out of FLL/MIA/TPA - mostly 7-10 nights through April. Also have 23FJS106 and 24CEL106 which are just $100 off. 23CAR205 expired a few days ago, which was another Carribean interior comp.
  10. I booked today for a 10 night and paid the $400 deposit. They told me I can't use the OBC in casino or for gratuities - I get the feeling that isn't accurate, but will check once I board. Hopefully I can, if not, we'll make do.
  11. Thanks for all the info. Makes me feel better. I did see the following text on their website. Makes the deposit seem non refundable. My offer email didn't state any of this information (didn't even mention the deposit), but I found it on their website. "Free stateroom offer EXCLUDES Taxes, Fees, Port Expenses (“TFPE”) and deposit. Offer can only be booked by Invited Member, who will be responsible for all TFPE for free stateroom (which range from approx. $95 to $460 for all cruises in this ad), as well as any other charges or expenses. A non-refundable, non-commissionable deposit of $200 per guest is required (deposit applies to first two guests in stateroom only); PCL will return deposit as an onboard credit once Invited Member boards cruise. Approximate value of free stateroom varies from $99 to $8,499. For more specific approx. values, please call PCL at 888-772-6697, your Cruise Vacation Planner or contact your Travel Advisor. Stateroom may be shared with one guest. Invited Member must be booked and stay in the free room and sail on entire cruise. If, for any reason, the Invited Member does not sail but the guest does, guest will be charged the full cruise fare. There is no guarantee of availability at time of booking. If the stateroom type offered is unavailable, then offer may be applied to the next available lower stateroom type, in PCL’s sole discretion. Limit: Invited Member may redeem this offer on three (3) separate cruises for total of 3 free staterooms (1 per cruise)."
  12. I recently did a tier match with the casino that resulted in them offering a free inside cabin on cruises up to 10 days. They require a $200 per person deposit that is returned in on board credit. My question is,what is this good for? We don't do excursions, don't do specialty dining, purchase few drinks, don't do spa treatments - We cruise a lot, and what's included has always been more than enough for us. I don't want $400 that we really have nothing to spend it on. Can it be used at the casino? Towards gratuities? Those are about the only uses I can see that we would actually find beneficial to us. Any other ideas for it? Thanks for any info.
  13. Did you receive any of them while you already had an upcoming BCC cruise booked?
  14. I occasionally recieve BCC comped cruise offers... I received one last week and booked for February, although it wasn't really an itinerary I'm thrilled with. I was wondering if they ever send another offer while you already have a different BCC cruise booked for the future. I thought about just waiting to hopefully get a better offer, but figured I should just book what I can. I'm hoping I didn't miss out on a potentially better offer by booking this one.
  15. My wife and I have sailed on 4 previous Celebrity cruises, and I don't think her Captains Club number has ever been attached to the reservation. Is it possible to claim these from previous cruises? If so, how?
  16. I am familiar with the site urcomped that allows you to submit cruise offers from cruise lines to get comp offers from other cruise lines that you don't normally use, however Carnival doesn't participate in urcomped. The Carnival casino website allows you to submit players club cards, and also has a link that says "Have other offers?". That link simply brings me to submit another players club card. I would actually like to submit my comp cruise offers from other cruise lines, not the players club card. Is this possible with Carnival? Where do I submit these? Thanks for any help.
  17. That’s exactly what I was thinking. Appreciate the input.
  18. I figured as much... What kind of money is required to cycle through the machines to be considered "adequate?" I don't anticipate getting offers after the first one, so I guess I should book something decent since it will likely be the only one. I didn't lie about my bankroll - I put $1500 which is way more than I normally gamble, but less than justifiable for a comped cruise. The Celebrity and Margaritaville comps directly from the cruise lines came from a few hundred in spend.
  19. I received an offer and went on a cruise from Celebrity last year from their casino/Blue Chip Club. It was a comped balcony room. Everything went off without a hitch. I've also received offers from Margaritaville/Bahamas Paradise casino before. I also learned about Urcomped for free cruise comps. I uploaded the Celebrity offer, the Margaritaville offer, and a couple other comp offers from low tier land based casinos. I now have a number of offers from Urcomped for cruises, but have not actually booked one yet. The thing is, I gamble very little. I have no idea why Celebrity/Margaritaville sent me the offers, but I took advantage of them. How is the booking process with Urcomped? Can I actually book the offers I have or is there a catch? What happens when I gamble very little again on the free cruise? I would make an effort to up spending on the comped cruise a little bit, but definitely not to a level to justify comps. Just trying to figure out if this is legit. Thanks for any information.
  20. Thanks! The itinerary the ship is currently on is slightly different, but ultimately I’m sure it’s about the same. I’ve been able to find a single report on a similar room, seems ok. Overall just minor things that won’t be a big deal in the long run.
  21. I sail in 5 days, and there is still no information loaded in the cruise planner as far as entertainment and activity schedules. The only thing that shows up are some of the excursions at port. Nothing as far as schedules on the ship. Is it odd to not have any of this info there 5 days out? Also, I got an upgrade from interior/promenade view to oceanview with RoyalUp. They gave me cabin 6702 (Independence of the Seas) which is the very last cabin at the aft of the ship. Is this a very poor cabin? Does it actually have a regular window or is it obscured being the last cabin on the ship? I couldn't find any solid reviews online. It isn't too big of a deal as I just bid the minimum, and wasn't expecting anything. The deck plan shows it as a spacious ocean view, but they awarded it to me as a regular ocean view. Thanks for any input!
  22. Booked recently for Oct 10th - So far only price I've seen is $83.99 (says that is "on sale" at 20% off of $105). To me, that is crazy expensive. Will just sneak liquor on unless it drops below $70.
  23. I'm booking a cruise for my parents, and I'll be going with them solo. They'll be staying in a room together, and I'll be staying in a room by myself. I have a VIFP offer I want to book two passengers on, but I have to be one of the passengers to use the offer. I would be booking my mother and I in one room, and my father solo in the other. Would it be OK to switch rooms to my fathers, and have them occupy the other room? Thanks for any help.
